More than once I didn't realize it was humor and read it before I checked it out. I was upset a couple of times. Now I check all the time. You are so correct.

Okay so we burned our bras in the 60's. I think some man decided women needed bras and invented that torture to punish women for being beautiful. I am 86 years old in less than a week and I still hate them.

Recall a college professor who during the late Sixties told his class with glazed over eyes, "How do we know that our lives are really real instead of a dream?"
Told a room mate what that professor had said. I laughed when my room mate said, "Why don't we shove his face into a pile of cow shit and ask him if that is really real?"

They have persuaded themselves that things which are literally impossible are possible. They live in an imaginary world and they are mad that the world won't change to accommodate their delusion.

This is intrinsically linked to the high rate of suicides in that community. Suicide is a product of despair/hopelessness and it becomes a viable course of action after realizing that they can never get what is impossible. What many don't realize is that the situation is a false dichotomy in and of itself: reality continues to exist and one can choose to abandon one's delusions in favor of reality rather than despair because reality won't change. I find it incredibly hypocritical and tragic that these individuals are told by their "support" group that it is the responsibility of the world to change to accommodate them. They promote a lie on top of a lie and it leads to the type of mental illness such as that which happened yesterday.
