Try not to watch the video or be influenced by anything but the piano. Remember that the Tirino performance is about two decades later than the Lecuona recording, so difference in recording technology/quality must be taken into account.

      I listened to both.

On the face of it, the first performance with the composer Lecuona playing would be the authentic version and Tirino is a skilled showman.

But after listening to both, the composer playing produced something 'good'.

But Tirano controlled the volume, rhythm and pacing to make the piece 'swing'.

This is often the case, definitive performances, well as judged by critics, are seldom conducted or played by the composer.

Yes, circumstances of performance are quite different, Lecuona no doubt playing in a recording studio, and Tirino playing before a live audience. That also has to be taken into account.
