    Yell at me if you want, but in one respect I have to come to McConnell's defense: We have him to thank that Merrick Garland is not on the Supreme Court. Not much beyond that, but just consider how different things would look if he had put Garland's name forward instead of leaving the seat open for President Trump to fill.
