Then, a New start, the Earth regenerated and with no wisdom or skills to make the next cycle better than the last.
Hence, the 12K year catastrophe cycle...not to mention a smaller one, (like the flood of Noah) inbetween.
It's a wonder we made it this far. Pray that only Strong Men Survive...
Now I work local...no more respite...
It usually takes about a week and she’s right back to thinking I don’t do shit.
Clinton is a queer lefty corrupt town but the rest of the area, Westbrook,Saybrook, Killingworth, even Madison, are Republican towns.
and learned about those farmers from the North area by (yuk) Clinton. As well as Some early settlers town he was born in in UK blah blah blah. If it was so great why did he come here. Just saying . Thankful it isn’t Clinton as that has become a dreadful name. New England has never sounded good in my mind .. FuQ the Monarchy. Charles and all his predecessors. Old States is more like it.
Killingworth, in Middlesex County, is located in south-central Connecticut and includes Chatfield Hollow State Park. Europeans established a plantation here in 1663, naming it Homonoscitt after the Hammonasset people who inhabited the area. In 1703, the state General Assembly granted incorporation to Kenilworth, which in time became known as Killingworth. Its original lands reached the shore and, until 1838, included present-day Clinton. Historically an agricultural community, Killingworth today is a rural, residential area. Its noteworthy citizens include the infamous Abel Buell. This 18th-century counterfeiter and inventor engraved one of the first maps of America and invented an early lapidary, or gem cutting machine.
Killingworth Name Meaning
from North and South Kilworth (Leics) which often has medial -ing- in medieval spellings (such as Killingworth about 1291 in Taxatio Ecclesiastica) or from Killingworth (Northumb) which is recorded as Killingworth in 125 The Leics place-name probably derives from an Old English personal name _Cyfel + the Old English place-name forming suffix -ing or the group-name suffix -ingas (genitive -inga-) + Old English worð ‘enclosure’. The Northumb place-name probably derives from an Old English personal name _Cylla + Old English connective -ing- + worð.
Read in other places that variants of the name go back to 12th century Scotland.
Funny. with all the names/towns and places connected with Killingworth are names of towns here in Ct...

I was cautioned about publishing but I know this crowd and after all, both sides had a top 40 hit or two...no bias here; just some laughter at ourselves.
