Eudaimonia's Challenge

To date, I have seen ASp3 six times.

Twice in Las Vegas, and four times yesterday in Fort Collins (I was trying to play Gulch Ambassador.
I even bought a ticket for the fifth show which I ended up not attending.

Today, my wife and son went to a showing in Fort Collins while I caught up with some work.

Tomorrow, the three of us (and maybe four of us if Ron promises not to fall asleep, he's 84) will be going again.

So that's eleven or twelve viewings and ten or eleven tickets before the close of Opening Weekend.

The Challenge: top me.

I'll buy you a ticket in Colorado Springs-just for this challenge. You do not need to pay me back. What a great idea jarvisc. Inspired!

Can't top that on a limited budget. I saw it once on Friday @ 4:35 PM (about 20 people) and will go see it again today @ 2:00 PM. I'll see it several times over the next two weeks. I missed the Kickstarter so this is my version.

    Well done, Eudaimonia!

I will offer a little challenge of my own. I am currently working in Saudi Arabia. (Maybe not quite a shrug, but there is no personal income tax here, while regarding my US taxes I am able to claim the foreign earned income tax credit. But I digress..) Unfortunately for me, I am not able to see AS P3 in the theaters, given that there are no movie theaters over here, let alone any showing of Atlas. Since I am not able to see the movie myself in person -- who wishes to buy me an honorary ticket? Naturally I will pay for it.

To each of the first three persons who respond to me, either in reply here or in private message, and who provide me an e-mail address for a Paypal account by which I can reimburse them the funds, I will transfer $20 to said person's (your) account. In return, please purchase an "admit one" for yours truly, Jarvis Cline, at the venue of your convenience -- that is, buy an empty seat for my honorary presence, for the movie I would love to see, or if I must fail that for now, for the movie I would at least stand in and be counted up for with my dollar. Sincerely, I look forward to your camaraderie in this request (thank you). -jarvis

Sadly, I couldn't sit in a theater that long without an EMS in attendance. However, we are a party of 7 taking in the 2 pm show followed by an early dinner at our favorite family restaurant. Tomorrow's a work day for everyone but me. I will enter cyberspace and have too much fun to call it work.

Would I get extra points for the miles between here and Couer d'Alene? I'm working on getting it closer, but so far Montana isn't on the map.

I bet. Sunday is a big work day for me and my computer work involves physical inventory that I need to have in my hand when I describe it online, so I'd look pretty ridiculous and probably raise suspicion if I tried to get work done in between showings. Hey...it's the weekend. Did you smoke a stogie while you were there?

I brought my computer and tried to get some work done.
I wasn't as successful as I hoped I would be.

Oh, Eud! If I only had the time to sit all day in a theater I would soooo beat your ass. :)
