In the 1950's black families had less divorce rates than white families. The had a tighter family cohesion.

I did recall, as said above, there was a president prior to Washington, but found out there was more than one under the Articles of Confederation. One only lasted 2 months and resigned. Thanks.

There were indeed several “Presidents” prior to Washington. I think there were 7 under the articles of confederation - our first attempt. The constitution we have now was actually our second attempt.

Under that first attempt the POTUSICA (in congress assembled) served one year and largely was the executive of the committee that governed while congress was not in session.

I do recall that John Hancock, yea that one, was who was in that office when the Declaration of Independence was signed. Which leaves 2-3 who were President after and during the Revolutionary War.

Remember when Stan Lee created the character The Black Panther back in the 60's Civil Rights era as part of the Marvel Universe? It was Stan in a way pandering to the politically correct politics of the time, but he also created the tiny little African "kingdom" of Wakanda where the Black Panther came from. A technologically advanced and self ruling little kingdom in the "dark" depths of the African jungle (oops, "rainforest"). I always entertained the comparison that could be made between Wakanda and Katanga. Katanga was an actual thriving capitalistic little country with individual rights - and then the globalists had to step in with UN goon storm-troopers and devastate and enslave the place. I always wondered if Stan Lee meant that comparison.
