All I can say is "I am on the Trump train." I think he learned a lot in go 1; go 2 should be a cleaning house hoot!

Your cynicism is understood. It would be insane to think anything would change from the status quo if we were doing the same thing. The media would continue lying and 95% would think it’s the truth. Not anymore.
“Business as usual”if we do not get on the Trump Train. The Deep State uniparty CUCKS only know how to destroy….. family , cohesion/unity , peace and harmony , trust , reality ,education , growth.
But Sir this is a prize fight and it will go as many rounds as needed, but the enemy is on its heels and they are desperate to stop and derail this MAGA train. The Great Awakening is happening,

Sometimes you can't TELL the public the truth.
    YOU MUST SHOW THEM.
ONLY THEN WILL PEOPLE FIND THE WILL TO CHANGE.
Crimes against children unite all humanity [cross party lines]?
    Difficult truths.
    Q

What happens when people learn the TRUTH?
What happens when people WAKE UP?
They will not be able to walk down the street.
    THE GREAT AWAKENING.

I've ridden railroads in both countries. From my experience, I think they are ahead. I don't have the economic data, but the usage rates between the two are quite different where the Chinese ride the rails a lot more than Americans so the cash flow is likely far better. Also, freight is the prime cash source in America, not passenger.

Cynical me: I suspect in China if you screw up the RR you find yourself in a very bad place, in America you get a bonus and a transfer to a more cushy job or golden retirement. Also, I'm sure there is corruption/collusion between RRs and government on both sides of the Pacific, but I suspect it's a real art form in America.

Edit add: Still cynical me: What we are seeing in Ohio is like a flock of seagulls at the beach. A little disturbance causes a great deal of squawking and flapping, but soon it all settles down like nothing happened and it's business as usual.

Very interesting story. It seems to confirm the message in the meme above comparing USA railroads And China. Thanks for sharing.

Not surprising. As I said in an earlier comment I should have started a discussion (new to the group and still figuring out details), so I will do that now. But on the subject of memes, one of the substack writers I follow, el gato malo (https://boriquagato.substack.com/) always has some good ones.

Truth Bombs Galore. The CS Lewis quote is spot on but for the robber baron nonsense.
Thanks for the mega-dose of Reality Dob.

I don't even know where to start with this! The RR bragged that at least 50% of new hires are from the minority community. First, 50% is NOT a minority. Second, the USA is STILL >70% white people so the company admits to discriminating against white people deliberately, which is against the law. Not only that, but now the pool of possible skilled workers is being deliberately made small by the company.

Now what really irritates me... From the article: "On Thursday, the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) determined in a preliminary report that an overheated wheel bearing on a Norfolk Southern train car could be responsible for the derailment that occurred. The report listed multiple operational concerns, adding that “surveillance video … showed what appeared to be a wheel bearing in the final stage of overheat failure moments before the derailment.” This seems to indicate that this was a disaster that could’ve been avoided with proper safety protocols in place."

If a bearing or dragging brake were the problem, damn straight it could have been avoided!!! I personally have been involved in a start up company with the inventor (and patent holder) of WORKING technology that can spot potential wheel bearing failure long before it actually fails. The same tech can spot other potential and actual RR car failures before a total breakdown occurs as well. The problem can be spotted on a train moving past at speeds up to 100mph. We tested the system in a RR yard in Kansas City in 2015 and it was quite successful. The RRs ignored us. Apparently, they have been doing things THEIR WAY for over a century and didn't need anyone telling them what they should do. I figure they just plain didn't want to spend the money and didn't want to be bothered with fixing stuff before it really broke. In 2017 a RR support company bought the rights (extremely cheaply I may add) to the system and BURIED IT! The installation in KC was removed and NO other tests or installations have taken place since. This is no conspiracy theory of buried tech. I was there! I wrote the code!

The best belly-laugh of this lot (copious thanks Dobrien for posting these - keep 'em coming!) is the masked Ohio governor. Just hilarious.

Except for his parroting of "robber barons" without specifying who he's talking about. If he'd appended "...in elected office" (the only "robber barons" there are and ever were are: government officials - since "robbing" can't happen without coercion,) it would've been perfect. So give him 80 out of 100.

I'd substitute Calvin Coolidge for Teddy Roosevelt on that list of Presidents...
    The Cash Cow is terrifying.
I'd add one thing to the We The People one: IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY!

Gosh, these are great. My vote for the best goes to C.S. Lewis. He is a hero of mine. We sure could use his brain and moral judgement today. Thanks for including a quote from him.

    These are all great, Dobrien!
C.S. Lewis gets a big YES from dino.
That's one interesting train derailer device for really real libtarded domestic terrorists I saw.
Jock Itch made me bust out laughing.
