An Alternative Observation: The Chinese 'Spy Balloon' Story As Manufactured Crisis

A convenient distraction?
Excerpt:
"Previous constant headlines of the Ukraine-Russia war were put on pause Friday into Saturday as the American public's attention and discourse got temporarily consumed by the bizarre Chinese 'spy balloon' saga, which grew more dramatic by the hour until it was shot down by the Pentagon over the Atlantic Ocean.

But few are currently asking the necessary deeper questions related to the timing. Given the last major balloon crisis to take over 24/7 network news coverage ended up being a complete hoax (remember the "balloon boy" stunt of 2009 which had the world breathless and on edge for a full news cycle?), the current context to the Chinese balloon story and the question of cui bono is worth a deeper dive...

Entrepreneur and geopolitical commentator Arnaud Bertrand, who as a Westerner has spent many years living in China and frequently attempts to correct the often misleading analysis of mainstream press reports, offers an 'alternative view' of what's fast unfolding below [emphasis ZH's)..."

I think they got their answer.

Yeah, the MSMM will say (ahem, make up) anything negative they want about Trump. No need for proof.

More than anything the balloon incident was a probe to see how stupid, paralyzed, and moribund Biden's administration and the American people have become.

I think they got their answer as all MSM can come up with is the lame, smoke-screen charge that Trump had Chinese spy balloons flying and covered it up, or at least didn't shoot them down at all--where at least Biden finally got one shot down. (Bolton claims he never had any knowledge of any Chinese balloons in US airspace.)

For that matter, the Clintons could have sold that tech to the CCP years ago for a nice boost of bucks to the Clinton Foundation by their Chinese donors. Anyhow, what bothers me is the tech to transmit collected data in real time is nothing new, so why all the foot dragging in bringing it down? I mean, did our military really have to let it cross the WHOLE country before taking it out? Who the H_LL is in charge here?

Your observation about foot dragging until Trump spoke up is a good one.

Irregular warfare . Interesting that Biden told the military Thursday to shoot it down and the military snubbed him . Two days later Trump “Truth socialed “ a message to SHOOT IT DOWN.
    next thing you know….
This incident sure did not help Buy Dems cause.

Just saying , but This technology of extremely high altitude surveillance 🎈 likely was stolen from US.
What if BuyDem had top secret documents on high altitude surveillance?
Pure speculation , but he had top secret documents.

    it was a distraction
but, it was also a test on several fronts

it seemed to be guided, so there was a test of that concept

it could also carry a drone swarm
drones to attack our planes on the ground
drones to jam missile silos closed
drones to attack the power grid

a test our our ability and willingness to respond

a test of biden to follow orders from china, as the biden crime family is owned by china
