Greenhouse gas levels rising at fastest rate since 1984

Perhaps more thought should be put into fast tracking nuclear energy. It's a lot cleaner. Uses less land. Wind farms aren't efficient enough as they still have to rely other sources of energy to supply energy if the wind isn't blowing or is blowing too hard and use way too much land to generate the modest energy output. Solar thermal is also an option that needs to be highly expanded on and quickly. We need our around the world governments to take their heads out of the sand and get with the program of using cleaner energy.

The BBC have again put out nonsense on the new green religion of environmentalist carbon change.

But, there is no such thing as greenhouse gas.
The earth is not warming. Even the official data series show no warming for 17 or more years- depending on which data set you prefer.
When this fact was recognized, they called it a 'pause' and tried to explain it by saying the heat is going into the ocean depths - where it can not be measured or detected. It mysteriously bypasses the ocean surface, and will no doubt out of malice, suddenly jump out. There are other explanations which use science type jargon but not evidence.
Official data in my country, Australia, have been manipulated to reduce past temperatures, the techniques used are not published but we can (still) get the original data. I have seen similar evidence re the US.
There some good theories on why global temperatures rise and fall and climate changes, these are generally linked to changes in radiation from the sun especially the effect on cloud formation. The so-called greenhouse effect has effectively been disproved and had little scientific basis.
If anything, carbon dioxide has a small effect by reducing temperature.
Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is largely from natural sources (about 97%). It is being produced continually and has a life in the atmosphere of about 10 year before being absorbed, the UN IPCC propagandists say 100 years.
The oceans are alkaline, there are not becoming 'more' acidic.
Carbon dioxide is beneficial to vegetation and therefore to all life forms, we should have more of it.

'We' do not need governments to fast track nuclear power, nor to do more of the other suicidal policies on energy. 'We' do need governments to get out of it, to stop giving public money to looters, we call them parasites here.

I recommend to our contributor Chyrol some looking up on how the policy of the BBC was decided by a cabal.

There are people in Africa and elsewhere who do not have clean water or sewer service or sufficient food. One big cause is the lack of electric power. A big cause of that is western -green- opposition to coal powered plant. The green movement has blood on its hands. Right now, the government of India, a nation in dire need of more reliable electrical power, is throwing out green agitators for spreading alarmist and false propaganda.

To a reader of AS, the explanation is simple, governments want to be seen as doing something. So they invent a problem, impose new taxes, hand out money to pressure groups, look serious,
But there is no problem to do anything about. The builders of useless plant, the banksters taking a cut, the consultants, are all bad enough, but worse are the altruistic believers, the members of the new greenism who want to save the earth by putting humans back to the stone age with a commensurate drop in population.
