When I was a child, it was reported to me by my family, I saw my male cousin (same age) standing up at the toilet. They reported I tried it and it didn't work for me. So I didn't try that any longer. I was my father's shadow and tried to go everywhere with him. I even took up golf instead of wanting to be a cheerleader. But it never occurred to me a girl could be a boy or vice versa. You are what you are and you can't change that no matter how hard you try. I even cried when they put me in a dress to go to school. That didn't help. Then at some age, I realized girls actually had the control button! Never again did I want to be anything else. I wonder how some of these youngsters the parents are encouraging to be 'whatever you want to be' are going to encounter that special time when they realize it isn't actually possible?
