Eudaimonia sent me 2 loafs of the most awesome sourdough bread EVER. Why? Because he's the MAN. That's why.

Congratulations! Sounds delicious. Thought I would share this with me new forum friends... Carl Griffith's 1847 OregonTrail Sourdough Starter ( legend has it this starter is from the original ). You can get a "free" starter by sending a SASE to Carl's friends ( but something tells me this crowd will be happy to hear that they do take donations to offset costs! ) check out http://carlsfriends.net/ for all the info.
