Interesting take from someone living there at the time. Especially in regard to gun control, health care, and nationalization in general. I do not know much about the author, but several people had recommended this read to me.

Do you guys realize you're responsible for inhabiting my every waking minutes with all of your wonderful book, movie, link suggestions? I can't keep up! It's all good stuff and I'm gobbling it up, but I'm swamped. I wish I didn't have to work...I could fill the rest of my days with just reading...and happily so.

        I have got to say, that is one unbelievable film. I watched it years ago, and somehow things didn't click. probably because I had little kids and I was sheltering myself from bad things-seriously, as a mother how do you sleep at night imagining all the evil in the world

        That's why we have them when we're young...otherwise we'd be too wise. :) I have HUGE fears for this one that's on the way around here. I go back and forth all day between sad and angry..... it's really sad.....and angry. lol
