So much for "Waste not, want not." This is waste in spite of want.

Exactly...it's so nice to throw these thoughts out there (in here) and have some one catch it and get it. I'm pretty sure people in my life hear me say things and think I'm off my rocker...I don't care and it doesn't stop me any, but it's a beautiful thing to receive a knowledgeable reply in return for a retort. :)

    Hello LetsShrug,

I had to comment on this. Your analogy is so perfect. Instead of government stooges spraying kerosene and destroying books, they are spraying bleach and destroying meat. One is sustenance of the mind the other of the body… The government only wants people dependent upon them for both.

Incidentally, Ray Bradbury just died in the last year, but little was said… wonder why???
    Regards,
    O.A.

Fine as long as restaurants let people know. I'd like to hear of any place there who dares to serve that, and then how many of what kind of people actually orders and consumes it.

Funny, I was in Grenada many years ago and the medical university was just down the beach from us. Happened to be a doctor staying at the hotel visiting his son at the college. Dad took the family to "Mamma's place" for dinner... They were served a possum, family style for $ 300.00... We laughed out loud when he told us the next day... :) Now I do have to go :) Have fun in here, and we do need to stop this meandering ..lol !!!

It happened to the mom of a friend of my son. She was driving down her street, a deer ran out, and wham! A guy in a pickup coming up the hill pulled over, asked if she was ok, then asked if she wanted the deer. She said no, he hauled the deer into the bed of his truck, and everybody was happy. Except the deer.... :-p

Ha! There was a pizza place near where my dad used to live, and it was called, 'Highway Pizza'. We used to tease him that we were going to order a thin and crispy possum to go.

Darn, if I lived in Montana, Roadkill could be the special of the day...lol.. hopefully people don't get to the point where they have to use their cars as a hunting tool... but common sense would be if you hit a deer, elk or moose, you should be able to take it as food. Why waste the death of an animal.

Hate to tell you, if you serve food to the public, the Board of Health has total control over your business. If you say NO, your doors will be locked and your business closed, until which time you meet their requirements....Yep, right in the license agreement you pay for every year...another situation you have to pay to police yourself, of course, for "the public's best interest.." As you can see from this article, there is NO public interest, just control...
