My family is so mixed up nuts, I'm going to a party today and I suppose it's about New Year's but it could be Christmas because my son in laws parents are of another country but I'll go anyway. My oldest is coming along okay but still grieving. He is a strong guy though. N

I'd say the liquor is a spicy flavoring for the egg, sugar, and cream that make up the essence of egg nog.

Always. I received a great recipe for egg nog years ago from a cook at an Elks Club and it's fantastic with Bourbon and Rum.
