Fusion reactions emit no carbon, produce no long-lived radioactive waste and a small cup of the hydrogen fuel could theoretically power a house for hundreds of years.

The total input energy to run the experiment was almost 100 TIMES the output energy
of the experiment. Sounds a lot like the lying estimation of man-made CO2 on global
temperatures.
"Lawerence Livermore director Kim Budil said that about 300 megajoules of energy
drove the experiment as a whole. The target produced about 3.15 megajoules of
energy from 2.05 megajoules of energy."
But it took 300 megajoules to run the experiment. Lying scum.
