I wanted to create a business of my own on day. that is my dream, but I have to hold off my plans because I know that even if my business I start is a hit. I would be hit even harder by the government regulation and tax. You know this as well as I do, that the government is not business friendly and in the close future it will not change. I wish we had the former regulations that Fred had back then or even looser regulation then back then, but I can wish all i want but the regulations will not go away. The only business that thrive today is with Oduma money and large corporations, but even they are being driven out of business by all those a double s'es in Washington that do not even have 1 iota of brains left in their filled cranium of the most nauseating cow pies that ever excised!
Exactly. Same here. Not that the business I had in mind wasn't going to bring in alot of cash, but it was something I knew I would absolutely enjoy.
Gov't over-regulation & taxation killed my initiative and plans. (sigh) It really came down to the numbers. I calculated exactly how much $$ it would take to start up and how long would it take before my ROI would pay off/out. I can't describe the feeling of disappointment, watching my dreams get bloodied and face down on the floor, thanks to the anti-business attitude of the Fed via the IRS.
The work I do now is for someone else, and it's in demand, but, not something I really enjoy doing. But, it brings food to my grill, and that's all the matters at this point.
