I was paranoid and over protective concerning him. Once a doctor, psychiatrist, where I worked, asked me if I was going to hold him on my lap until he was 21 and I smartly answered, "If I think it is necessary, I will.' Fortunately he topped out at 6'4" and 200 pounds. But I was just as concerned over my next and only child. Maybe even more so. I value children. I even created a pediatric clinic in my little town to treat children (charitable) who had restricted airway diseases. And a clinic for young girls 9 - 14 who were having weight problems (boy was that an eye opener for me). Those babies had more problems than you can imagine.
