Expose ease of ballot cheating in Milwaukee and be fired, charged with election fraud
A Milwaukee election official obtained a number of blank military ballots without approval, mailed them to a Republican state legislator representing a Wisconsin district adjoining Milwaukee to demonstrate how easy it is to obtain and distribute blank ballots. Milwaukee Mayor Johnson fired the election official for "election fraud" when the Republican displayed the ballots to show how easy it was to cheat.
By all means punish the messenger exposing ease of cheating by charging the messenger with the crime she's trying to expose. Could this happen in a city NOT controlled by a Democrat?
