"God", was and is used for a variety of concepts, objects and creatures. Causation or Creator fits the understanding much more accurately.

    PS, TGIFfunnies has been published.

Causation. I agree with that. The Higher Power and the universe are so far beyond my ability to understand that I try to live life with enlightened self-interest. So far, so good. As long as I can discern my enemies in time to prepare rather than just react, I can manage.

Yes, I thought the same thing in regards to Rand and I share her distaste for "Organized religion". However, I do value the teachings of Christ and I,.. like Einstein and other noted scientist, observe that there must be "Causation". The physical Universe is amazing and just could not have come together on it's own.

Provocative post, Carl. Thanks for a very enlivened discussion. The memes are horrendous, especially as some inhabitants of Kalifornia are instituting courses in Mayan culture, encouraging their students to practice the old religion. Since Ayn Rand did not believe in organized religion or the necessity of prayer, I do not see her in favor of child sacrifice as prayer to the gods--they don't exist--and the waste of human potential would be abhorrent to her.

    Below the FOLD:

Dr. MissedMe Sanger, with NASA, exposed the sample to enough UV light to destroy it... Saying he did it for his mother, as that was what she would do to any clump of cells...

60% of the population has yet to achieve Conscious Introspection on any meaningful and consistent level.

If you thought the covid op was a mind-blower of societal control, just wait for Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Resist.

In the news today: "microbial life was found on Mars" Yet an unborn child is not considered to be a life yet, according to Democrat Dogma.
Can you square that circle? I can't.

Eugenicists never went away, they changed clothes, changed tactics, changed the message, but the goals remain the same. Population reduction starting with the (perceived) inferior breeds. I forget where I read it, but the majority of PP aborted babies are minority babies. That's not by coincidence.

No doubt she'd be appalled by anyone not agreeing with her. Just to pull a number out of the air I'd say I agree with her more than 95% of the time and I'm sure I'd be tossed out of her closest circle for the remainder for however small it would be. That's OK by me because I'm still a free man who can make up my own mind and form my own opinions. I suspect she would respect me for that, especially if I can offer a valid argument for my thoughts.

I respect you as well, Rex_Little, even though we may not agree on everything under the sun.

Being of retirement age, I've known many women, friends and relatives, who have had an abortion. Without exception they have all regretted their decision, and without exception, have gone on to have children. You have to ponder the depth of the guilt they must feel as they watch their children grown up and have children of their own, and wonder: "the child I denied life, what life would they have had? What children would they have produced? Did I kill the next Einstein, Mozart, Tesla? "When I die and go to the great beyond, will I meet the child I denied life?"
If a person denies a life for selfish reasons and does not regret it, do they really have a soul? Asking for a friend.

I wonder how she would react to the PP killing machine selling the parts to the highest bidders.

To be sure, but I stand by my statement that she'd be appalled. People were routinely ejected from her inner circle for differences of opinion on matters far less fundamental than this.

OK, let's not debate, but some of us here agree with Rand on many objectivist points she offered, but not this one. I'll go out on a limb here and say as much as Rand seems to be worshiped by many, she is no goddess, and is therefore subject to error in judgment.

If you are relating the memes to Rand's full belief in non-restricted abortions, I'm not sure if she was aware of the historical and possible modern infant sacrifice. She was an atheist but I doubt she would have been on board with the consumption of adrenochrome. Statistically, a lot of kids are abducted every day. Just food for thought. Not a debate, but every comment can lead to a different point of view.

How democrats ignore the implications is mind-boggling.

Recent research into Climate change fraud introduced me to Harrison Brown. His views mirrored Sanger's. He was very influential in the 1950s and 1960s. He had a close friend that took up his torch: Paul R Ehrlich who advocated reducing and managing the global population through a planned abortion before and after birth delivery. Yes, this is the same Paul Ehrlich that wrote "The Population Bomb". Incidentally, Ehrlich worked with John Holdren who advocated the same population control. Holdren was Obama's, Science Czar.
Everything Progressives do relate to their center's core belief in Population reduction, control, and management.
