On my way to school it was down hill, down a bigger hill up a big hill and up a little hill...on the way home, it was the same only in reverse, obviously. Averaged out...the Up hills have it in distance.

And it was uphill both ways . . .

I loved that one, too. However, I did go to elementary school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until I was eight. I lived ten blocks from the school. I do remember walking to and from school

Three nights ago I was here staring at my PC monitor when startled by a weird loud clattering sound in the living room. Thought someone may have kicked in the front door. Yelling, "Hey!?" was my startled immediate response.
My heart quickly beating, me dino sought the source of that sound with a 357 Magnum clutched in my hands. So what made that sound?
Two yet to be wrapped Christmas gifts! One on top of the other, a pair of polished hardwood cutting boards had slipped off the couch and loudly clapped together when hitting a carpeted floor.
Good. If I had to shoot an intruder, that would have really hurt my ears, and I already have tinnitus. It's not the blazing combat indoor gunfight Schiff you see in Die Hard movies.

The first one was also the parents on the way home too. ;)
