Picking Presidents?

It’s the story of the century that isn’t selling many papers — how the FBI held onto the Hunter Biden Laptop-from-Hell for months and actively colluded with media outlets to suppress that news, all while US voters were deciding whether to vote for his father for President.

The FBI knew the Lap Top contained evidence of corruption of the highest order, yet chose not to investigate. They also knew the story would probably leak in October and were actively contacting Facebook and Twitter on a weekly basis before then to pre-empt it — so that the bad news could disappear and wouldn’t hurt their chosen candidate. When the FBI wanted news suppressed, the media giants “handled ” it in a flash. They could make whole newspapers disappear.

The real story of course, is still that the men with guns are deciding which crimes are worth investigating, what news you are allowed to read, and who the voters should vote for. This makes the USA a lot more like Cuba or Russia than anyone wants to think, and it matters to all of us — even outside the US. This dark influence is a black hole in the free world with event horizon out in space.

In the world we thought we lived in, this would be the lead story and day after day.

Who rules America? The Spies?"

    Equal rights.
First, they have already proven they don't value equal rights by having different rules based upon whether one has "pull." You'd go to the death camp for protesting while Joe Buydem will
never be charged with anything when the evidence should show he is a war criminal and traitor.

However, the purpose of the fair trial is to acknowledge the rights of the accused and to prove
they're guilty or innocent based on evidence. The Constitution provides for a possible death sentence for traitors - those proven guilty of treason.
So, no, it isn't love or death, the penalty phase of the trial will provide for the actual penalty
    based upon the evidence.

You don't need to love every neighbor, just respect their equal rights. "Love thy neighbor as thyself." And a "neighbor" is every other human being on earth, not just the people next door. Are the only alternatives to love or kill?

I disagree. A prison term that is pardoned after a year or so is an example to others that treason is a trivial offense. The obvious corruption in the fedgov will result in exactly that curtailed sentence. Corruption will continue to flourish as a result.
Obviously the trial must be fair and the evidence unassailable for conviction and the ultimate punishment.
To do otherwise would be unethical and inhuman.

It's what happened with Germany and Russia in WW II. Italy just rolled over in deference. The only reason Hitler didn't go to war with Japan was that there were other nations in the way! Tyrants are their own worst enemies. If only there were a way to pit them as gladiators against each other (like Iraq and Iran for decades after WW II) so that the rest of us could be left in peace!

I didn't downvote you, but I will disagree. There MUST be some punishments where the death penalty is appropriate. Attempting to usurp the freedom of every individual in this nation crosses that line IMHO.

I used to agree. And I agree in most cases, still.
Because they would Execute Trump for a Typo!

    But this is basically Treason.
But I would be willing to remove all of their limbs except their non-dominant arm. And then prison, just to satisfy those who think they should live.

All killing is evil and needs to be removed from all human relationships. Corrupt officials can rig guilty sentences. Treason can be falsely accused. Hate can fake anything. I repeat: Wars and killings are a psychological virus, diseased memes. Execution is not a cure; it worsens the contagion.

Confinement is subject to pardon by a corrupt president. Execution is more permanent as it should be, and treason can be a capital crime punishable by death.

Let's stop short of executing them. Let's not become murderers, too. Confine the convicted traitors and keep them in shame forever. Wars and killings are a psychological virus. Find a cure.

They don't think they're above the law: they are above it, and they know it. Where are they all now? Walking around, free, with no charges in sight. Until and unless one of them gets strung up by his balls, they know with absolute certainty that they are above the law.

Wondering if this way, way bigger than Watergate treasonous scandal will some day factually appear in American history books or be whitewashed from our future collective memory forever . . . along with our Republic and our Constitution.

Once they reach absolute power over the world, that will happen.
They'll all want to be the big poobah.

The fact that the MSM is saying worse things about Musk NOW, than they did about Epstein THEN, tells us everything we need to know.

My dear FFA...great article, I added a thumbs up to the 4 you already got. These people think they are above the law. They would be shocked you think they aren't doing their job. They work hard, every day. Well I wish they'd start protecting us while they are playing around! I am concerned we have no guarantee of our safety.N

The biggest tool they have is having Americans penned up in their respective echo chambers. We don't talk to each other. Half of the people hear "the laptop is fake," and they assume so. The other half hear "the laptop is proof of corruption," and can observe the story being suppressed. Divide and conquer. We are already divided and conquered. The FBI is here to police the mess, and keep it nice and messy.
