Gab - positive and negative
As a constitutionalist I am a very strong proponent of free speech. In fact, I'll listen to any argument on the condition I can tell that person my view and, if warranted, that he's an assh_le.
Growing up in an itialian-american household in NY, learning to drive in NY and serving in the USN, swear words are more coloring/flavorful than offensive and just about any viewpoint is subject to argument or defense.
That said, I commend Gab for their mostly hands off approach to free speech. For better or for worse you receive a full range of ideas and the assh_le tend to highlight themselves regularly.
Still, I think Gab provides group courage to cowards. Almost all on Gab profess Christianity and constitutionalism and yet Gab has quite a few racist? I know this isn't the preferred subject matter on this site, this just irritates me and I need to vent a bit.
I posted this to Gab earlier today, yet despite having nearly 50 followers no one has responded either favorably or unfavorably. I have blocked the posts of about half the numbers of those following me primarily for being pro-nazi, pro-white, or openly racist to anyone non-white.

All things were created and put on earth by God. This truism includes every living thing, that means ALL people regardless of race or sex.
If you objectify someone and dictate your behavior toward them solely based on their skin color you are a racist and you are going against Gods creation. You don't have to like or appreciate people different than you but that doesn't change that God made them, just as He has you and your lineage. He has a reason and a plan and HE doesn't have to meet your approval. Good morning.
I'm old school American so I'll tolerate it, but I am seriously growing tired of the racist speech on Gab, it's very unbecoming for those professing to be christian or even American."
Anyhow, there are enough legitimate reasons to dislike someone without being petty. Just venting.

BTW it has been reported that the FBLIE is on these social media sites. it would not surprise me to find out they are behind this BS. Mostly I post music, photo images, my art work and I repost things that i am interested in often to save it and sometimes for future review.
That said , I am totally OK with anyone posting or spewing their hate, after all it is the way to judge a character. If everyone spoke with political correctness , the true character is masked.
That situation is coming to a swift end.

Free speech includes correct description of racism.
Now GAB is established there is plenty of racism appearing, not much opposition. What opposition there is, gets overwhelmed.
There a lot of self selection going on with the first group predominating.
They may claim to be Christian, more the Christianity of the Inquisition than of the founders.
On my moms side anyone who served did not speak of their part/role in WW2 but my great uncle did once mention that he was there at the liberation of an extermination camp.
I’ve known too many from that generation, family and friends of family who served to believe the neonazi bullshit but it’s alive and well, even growing, within Gab.
If we cannot even agree on what is evil….
Illegals are not entitled to anything but a return trip home but that doesn’t mean we have to be uncaring.
Dale and I went round after round over private property and ownership. My position has only strengthened.
