2023 GOP ‘Takeover Plan’: More Empty Platitudes. The GOP is led by lawyers, not leaders — corrupted puppets ease growing populist rage. A black hole of empty, broken promises.

Excerpt:
"The GOP is led by lawyers, not leaders — corrupted gatekeepers that function as a controlled-opposition release valve to ease growing populist discontent. They provide an outlet for popular rage and then funnel it into a black hole of empty, broken promises.

The party’s 2023 congressional takeover plan proves this. It’s chock full of the same types of vague, standard rhetoric about tax cuts, “restricting” immigration, and “criticizing” Silicon Valley, an outdated relic of the 90s:

“Republicans are expected to focus their new platform on education policies aimed at tapping into parental discontent; countering the rise of China with new economic measures; and ‘oversight’ of the Biden administration. They are also looking at invoking other traditional GOP goals such as cutting taxes, restricting immigration, criticizing Silicon Valley and repealing environmental rules.”

“Tapping into parental discontent”; “criticizing Silicon Valley.” How banal; how non-threatening!

In fact, the current plan was literally co-authored by blast-from-the-past longtime GOP Swamp creature Newt Gingrich, who famously engineered the 1994 Congressional takeover."

---------------------------------------------------
The GOP are not allies of the People.
They are the Deep State, the enemy.

I had a neighbor who was a defense lawyer. He once said about a client:
"Well, yeah, he DID commit armed robbery, but other than that, he not such a bad person".

He'd probably make a good DA in a dem-run city!

The GOP establishment, or "GOPe", is indeed an enemy. But good guys (populists) are pushing to take the party over.

My rule of thumb is to find commentators who are good at picking good people. I thought this of Trump but I was wrong; he got taken for rides by con artists again and again. Now I mostly trust and recommend Robert Barnes (http://vivabarneslaw.locals.com).

The "Commitment to America", Just another way of saying "The Contract With America" like what Gingrich did back in 94. Promises, promises and promises are made to be broken. It is Official, they honestly do think we are all stupid. Sad to admit but they sure are half right.

With you, GayL. We both are residents of NY and are screwed no matter what we do. Like you, I keep voting but know it's an effort in futility.

I know what y'all are thinking: Quit yer bitchin' and move out! Not so easy being in the winter of my lifespan and the younger generation here about needs to hear my bitchin' through all the propaganda they are exposed to. Besides, it seems the rot has settled in everywhere, so where to move? Whatever...

McTurtle's wifie-pooh is the daughter of the biggest shipping magnet in China. You don't get and hold that kind of power without the blessing of the Chi-Com Party leadership.

Tucker is see eye aye, mockingbird media.
90% truth, 10% lies and obfuscation.
The technique is old as time. Tell two truths, then the lie. Think back on the Kenyan:
The sky is blue, the grass is green, slight pause, you love communism. Oldest trick in the book.

There remains only Leftism by degrees.
    A Uni-Party, if you will.
Watch out for the kiss of death, the implementation of CBDC.
Criticize the government, get shut off from your own money. It's real. It's happening.

I don't know what blackballed means, but I hope it means that WE THE PEOPLE will take our country back by refusing to consent to the politicians' policies. We will form our financial system and ignore the FRN or USDC. We will take our children out of their control by demanding several of our school teach the ideas and ideals that we believe.

Republicans are just the flip side of the same coin. Heads or Tails and we still lose. What irks me is my desire to vote and even though I know what the Rs are, I cannot bring myself to ever vote for any democrats or not vote at all. It's a racist thing where republicans are white and democrats are black and the both suck!

If we are becoming transparent about "Republicans", let's do the same with their most visible media outlet: FoxNews.
While it is slightly better than the legacy media, its still unwilling to build its viewership.
Do they ever delve into the reasons that the constitution was written in such ways? Other than the second amendment was to protect individuals.
Do they ever discuss the importance of private property is the basis of individual rights?
Do they ever speak of actually REDUCING the state other than "draining the swamp"?
Do they ever review history and examine Congressional activities from 1840 to 1860? These activities laid the groundwork for the southern rebellion.
Do they ever really discuss the mirage of fiat money?
Is FoxNews actually a viable service to spend time with?

    Lawyers NEVER Lie.
They Misrepresent, Obfuscate, and Avoid ANYTHING approaching TRUTH!

Fauci (via lawyer speak, changed his phrase to):
The safety and efficacy of this vaccine has been well-established.

IDIOTS Hear: "The Vaccine is Safe & Effective"

LAWYERS Hear: "Ouch. I better go look into this, because that could mean ANYTHING"

Normal People wonder: Would he say that if it wasn't safe and effective? (Yes, to save his arse when the truth comes out).

    It's all manipulation!

Republicans are not haven't been in longer than I can remember a party with the peoples interest at heart. Republicans are nothing more than a slightly slower flaming run away train filled with gasoline running straight to Hell.

Even Tucker is just a safety valve. He always stops just a little bit short and toes the opposition narrative line.
    And the beat goes on.

    And THAT’s why I’m blackpilled.
And blackpilled does not mean WE are DOOMED. It means THEY are doomed. I am already decoupling from this corrupt system.
    And, I’m finding happiness.
John Galt didn’t try to fix the system. He didn’t try to break the system. (well maybe) He simply removed his consent from the system and by extension his efforts to prop it up. The system collapsed of it’s own corruption and irrelevance.
There’s no changing this trajectory without massive societal upheaval. In what form that will come I do not know. But it’s the only way to avoid the coming totalitarian nightmare that is congealing before us.

FFA I know what you mean. After what the Supremes did in the Bush/Gore race how do you suppose they can feel so threatened by what the Dems did in 2020? Paybacks are hell!

" They provide an outlet for popular rage and then funnel it into a black hole of empty, broken promises." There you have it in the nutshell. Trump didn't work out for them in many of these respects, which is why some "Republicans" hated him.
