Why/how Fed's "dual mandate" creates inflation bias; why massive interest rate hikes aren't in the future despite jawboning

Continuing, maybe perpetual, inflation is a safe bet until the dollar goes up in smoke.

What do you think will happen to the commodity futures' markets when the Fed can't deliver what it has jawboned?

The small hikes they’ve done so far have triggered sovereign debt crisis in poor countries already. Honestly the only countries that even have something close to sound fiscal policy are the BRICS nations. They need to tell the IMF to go piss up a rope.

Does the Fed have any legit function at all?
I think maybe, some, but central setting of interest rates is not a proper function.
