It's not cell phones I am worried about as much, as giving the Crimaliens the right to vote.
    This dumpster fire is spreading.

I got a really stupid question: How close are we to running out of phone numbers?

Soon it will be illegal to NOT hire people who were admitted illegally (waiting for their approval). Good luck with that one. The government let them in, and the government should have to pay for them, and the government should NOT be able to borrow any more money that will cause inflation.

Had a border patrol officer in my office two weeks ago. He has spent considerable time on the southern border. He stated that he is a travel agent. He stated that when the illegals hit the US he washes their clothes, gives them a cell phone and a travel ticket. The illegals throw the phone away because they know they can be tracked. He is normally on the northern boarder but gets assigned to the south from time to time. He hates his job on the southern border - period.

I agree; however, for the 99th time, you posted something I haven't read without a reference.

Post the damn references to the assertions you are arguing against!

I forgot about those. Problem is they are only good for out going calls so not as convenient as having a phone you can give the number out to your friends.

I'd like to see the UN HQ moved to Mogadishu, Somalia so it can be closer to and more centralized to the populace it actually serves. One last expense for the USA to aid the move and then drop out entirely - call it a one-time severance expense.

I understand the thinking behind sending the illegals to Fukushima or Chernobyl, but they are not under USA control in the manner of Guantanamo.

Obama started giving cell phones to the illegal aliens 12 years ago. Today they get to fly anywhere in the country except Martha’s Vineyard, without an ID.

    Guantanamo?

i vote for Fukishima or Chernobyl as holding areas
right next to the new UN HQ building in those locations

The only thing I can think of is that cell phones can be tracked. Anyone (and I mean ANYONE) carrying a cell phone that is turned on can be found. Does any one know of a cell phone that is not trackable?

Not to mention the unwritten rule of continuous growth and protection of government bureaucracies. I'm sure this cell phone tracking scheme requires huge (and growing) personnel and internal organizations - all receiving top salaries and now "forever protected". Add a few more billion on the backs of taxpayers. The wall sure looks like a cheap solution. Deportation... er ah... relocation to Guantanamo for "processing" would send a message as well. They won't need cell phones there.

I know you aren't 'giving up', but I admit it's very difficult to understand the actions of sociopaths, fools and traitors.
Always asking 'Cui Bono?' does shed some light often though.

much easier to not have to track il-legals not in our country

not saying anything you do not already know...

Thank you. The article points out a new reason to give out "free" phones. That is, in theory, ICE can track the illegals with phones - for approximately a dollar a day (plus the cost of the phone) for each of the quarter million phones already handed out. According to the article ICE hasn't given any data as to whether or not this plan is working in spite of requests for the data. Big business for cell phone and cell service providers at taxpayer expense.

You didn't supply any link to the cause of your question, but let me take a swing at the cause of this craziness. Once upon a time long ago, but not too long after the great welfare state got the big boost in 1968, some politician thought of the votes that can be bought by giving away free telephones, later to include cell phones, to anyone that may need "emergency services". It just wasn't fair that only people who could afford a phone should have such access to such services and the poor did not so the great welfare state took it upon itself to offer "free" phones to certain classes of people living in the USA. There is no citizenship requirement to get a free phone. It's just another perk offered to border jumpers.
