Another (new to me) Issue with EVs...

Okay, the thought that it would take 4 days to charge at home. Kind of new. But with the better charger, it's still a 24hr charging cycle.
What was NEW to me, was that when they loaded up one of the EVs with an empty trailer, and then put a load on it. WOW, did performance drop. Using like 3x the power to get back.
Otherwise, similar points about getting out of California in a hurry and finding a 10% charge.
The scarier part to me, is you drive your truck, and you KNOW it can make it X miles.
But once you load up all the people, suit-cases, etc. into the thing... You will instantly see you can't make that distance by a longshot.
I've loaded my gas powered vehicles to travel between homes. And while I've seen about a 10% loss loading things up, with stuff hanging off the back, increasing drag... I Could not fathom a 50% reduction in fuel efficiency.

(In an ICE vehicle heat costs you nothing and air conditioning might cost 0% to 2%.)

fire stations and police stations now have fuel on-site
with EVs, what is the plan for those? how long can a fire truck pump water on electric?
today, you can just poor fuel into the firetruck and it keeps going
same for police cars under different circumstances
these people are simple idiots with an agenda that gives them power and money and everyone else gets shafted
