Tulsi is an incredible woman. Currently serving in the Army, she is a surfer and a practicing Hindu. I'm glad that she has seen the Dem Party as a bunch of political power-hungry animals (my words not hers). what she articulated to me has the same meaning.

The WEF Young Leaders pedigree issue is a real potential problem. My BS radar is saying she is being primed for something - by someone. The old political adage: "What it shows the most it is the least", may be operative here.

She began popping up more and more regularly on Fox for no apparent reason. And now the timing of this big abdication/admonishment of the Dem Party right before the mid-terms.

However, it is becoming one of those situations where, because of the words and the articulation, it so damn appealing. However, words are words and are not actions. It is almost too good to be true to hear the words that are so close to saying "You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality". It's scary to contemplate that someone may know how to articulate some of the core issues, but only with the motive to manipulate the same old, same old in the same old directions. This will be very important and instructive to watch in this context.

She is a still democrat, especially if you look at some of the issues she supports. She goes both ways, issues that is. Somehow we've gotten away from the issues that are the only thing we should be electing our officials on. The issues they talk about now will probably never be resolved, it might cause them to actually talk about the things that actually matter to everyone.

Since me dino learned from freedomforall that Tulsi voted "present" on that impeachment Schiff YET also said Trump was guilty of some sorta "wrongdoing." That pretty well sealed the deal for me.

She used to be what was called a moderate Democrat in the eighties. She just didn't get more extreme or "woke" when the rest of the party did.

Her new speech seems to show about the same views, though she says she's changed to pro-gun now. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt but there are still things that give me doubts about her. (Such as WEF membership.) So I wouldn't vote her as President, but I would vote her to return to Congress.

I don't necessarily disagree that your analysis of her positions is incorrect. I merely note that I will give her props for moving in the right direction with full cognizance of what she loses access to: the lifeblood of politicians a.k.a. the national party checkbook.
