Season 3 of "Big Sky" (ABC TV drama series, not to be confused with the 2015 film) will begin September 21. It originally debuted November 17, 2020, apparently as woke Disney retribution for the Red Wave that removed Democrats from the Montana governor’s chair and seated Republican Greg Gianforte—far more sympathetic than nearly any Democrat to causes Trump might espouse such as 2nd Amendment rights.

To Democrats’ further chagrin, Trump won the state of Montana by a 16 percent margin; so there’s a lot of pent-up vitriol to be aimed at Montana and Montanans from woke Democrats looking down their noses from Disney media heights.

Not surprisingly, this vitriol and rage, itching to be encapsulated in TV drama, found its expression by conjuring up a child-sex-trafficking ring led by and composed of—guess who?—yes, it’s those least likely (in the mildly prejudiced opinion of woke, leftist media) to answer Biden’s forthcoming call to put down rebellious right-wing extremists and confiscate their weapons. None other than Montana State Highway Patrol troopers sporting their hideously racist insignia, “3-7-77.”

Big Sky will have to do without me for one this coming season—just as it did without me after I began to catch the drift of what its actual intent was (and undoubtedly remains) more than a year ago. To quote or at least paraphrase a long forgotten poet (perhaps T. S. Elliot, e. e. cummings, or even Hilaire Belloc), “… Include me minus. I’ll be in my rowboat, alone with my sinus.”
