You can say whatever you like, as long as it's what the Deep State likes.

Excerpt:
"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

None are more hopelessly ignorant than those who falsely believe they’re informed.

None are more hopelessly propagandized than those who don’t know they are propagandized.

Living in a liberal western democracy means having the freedom to criticize the tyranny of your government, but instead spending your time criticizing the tyranny of foreign governments who your government doesn’t like.

Free speech in a liberal western democracy means you have the freedom to say whatever you want about the abuses of your government, and the press has the freedom to hammer you with propaganda to ensure that you never do.

In a liberal western democracy you are free to criticize your government, but instead you are propagandized into criticizing the impotent puppets who get rotated in and out of office while your government continues doing all the same evil things regardless of who gets elected.

In liberal western democracies you are free to call the president “Drumpf” or “Brandon”, but you are not free to know who’s actually calling the shots in your country underneath the official government.

In liberal western democracies people say, “I’m so glad I don’t live in a country like Russia or China where people are forbidden to criticize their government. I live in the west, where I’m free to criticize Russia and China all I want.”

It doesn’t matter if you have freedom of speech if those in power can control what you will say. And in liberal western democracies, this is exactly what happens."

I grew up in the shadow of the Kennedy Assassination. I questioned our government from an early age,
I see very few critical thinkers left in this country

C_A in 1968 creates the image of a critical thinker regarding JFK’s murder as a tinfoil hat kook.
It was extremely effective. I had that label thrown on me on this forum dozens of times 4-5 years ago.
Now , it is just when I talk about The Ukraine War ,Iget told to “move to Russia if I love Putin so much”
Lmao. They will learn that I am right again.

What we are witnessing is a continuation of post modernism. Simply put it is like a Hegelian dialect. Thesis vs antithesis. Evil is Good ,Good is EVIL
God is Evil , Satan is Good. Woman is a man who says he is a woman. Man can menstrate. The woman of the year is a man. A painting (actually paint blown around on a canvas with his cocaine straw) by Hunter Biden sells for $500,000. A vaccine does not give you immunity to the targeted disease. Child protection services put children in peril. A life long Criminal is revered George Floyd.
A month is dedicated to peoples sexual perversions. The pledge of allegiance is banned
( likely because it says liberty and justice for all)
    Political Correctness is Freespeech.

My son gave this excellent quote last night:

"If you want to know who controls you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize."
    - Voltaire

      Apparently misattributed to Voltaire.

"Most pithy remarks are attributed to Mark Twain, Groucho Marx, H. L. Mencken and me." --Karl Marx. Or perhaps Voltaire. Or perhaps Pythagoras.

"It doesn’t matter if you have freedom of speech if those in power can control what you will say. And in liberal western democracies, this is exactly what happens." I wish I'd seen this before I posted a reply to a Jared Kushner post; sums up quite well why I've given up, and I would have included it in my reply. (edited because I hit reply too soon...)

we in the US have the "Freedom" to watch as those in DC destroy the United States and most of the "Free World"
    /s

what it will take to stop them, i do not know

Newt Gingrich said last night on Mark Levin (Mark is kinda hit and miss, why he think new Constitutional Amendments would stop anyone, when they clearly ignore the ones we have now) that if Trump is indicted, riots will start

maybe riots will start, but i'm not taking any bets as those that swore an Oath to prevent this stuff from happening remain sitting on their hands

we now know for a fact that biden is a usurper as the FBI clearly places it hand into the 2020 election for biden

We must beware getting caught up in anyone's version of, "Let's you and he fight." Right now the most important action is to ensure that in November we vote to Throw The Bastards Out. This means voting even for the no-so-hot Republicans.

It also may mean setting yourself or a trusted friend to run for School Committee, for Town Meeting Member, or for City Council. If you happen to live in a New England town that is run by Open Town Meeting (in contrast to a representative Town Meeting) then attend and vote any special Town Meeting as well as the annual springtime meeting. Study the Warrant (the legal agenda) for the meeting ahead of time.

We must work to ensure fair elections, not controlled by enemies foreign or domestic.

Additional remarks for those who live in New England in towns governed by Town Meeting.

      1. Learn Robert's Rules of Order (see https://robertsrules.com/ ) and the local exceptions to Robert's Rules that apply to your town's Meeting.
      2. Understand completely the particular motions that may be raised. "I rise to a Point of Order," is how you ask the Moderator or the Town Counsel to correct an apparent mistake in running the Meeting. "I rise to a Point of Information" asks for an explanation of something. For example, "Does the motion on the floor apply to all residents of Waffle Street or just to the houses on the western side?"

The Point of Information is commonly misunderstood by naive or underhanded Meeting members who raise it as an opening for THEM to provide some purported information. No, it is for asking a question!

      3. If you cannot follow the established Meeting rules you can be declared Out of Order and made to shut up or be ejected from the meeting. This most easily happens when you decide to shout over the (one) person who has the floor.

      4. The Meeting consists of the quorum of members who are in attendance at any instant. Beware of leaving too soon. For example, you gather a number of citizens to support your favorite item, perhaps Article 17 in the Warrant. It passes. You and all your buddies leave, thinking you have won. The next motion that someone makes is, "I move to reconsider Article 17." It gets tossed aside, and you weren't there to defend it because you didn't know that could happen.

Attending a Town Meeting, even as a non-voter, is an amazing and educational experience.

That’s right Patriot Snezzy ,and to reiterate do not fall into the trap of violence. The left is going to dress up antifaBLM in MAGA gear and create the image of Patriots terrorizing. Vote and get involved.

One thing that can save us: Ayn Rand. I don't mean her personally but her ideas. Once people would start understanding those ideas, (and Aristotelian logic), that is what could turn things around.

+1. LibertyBelle I can’t for the life of me understand why your comment would be downvoted.

What better thing to do if you oppose (or fear) Ayn Rand than to infest a website of AR fans and drop little turds. And it's so logical, too. Right there in your textbook of Logic, Argumentation and Debate we find:
            - Argumentum ad Baculum -- "Agree with me or I shall clout thee!"
            - Argumentum ad Hominem. -- "James is wrong because he is an idiot."

Your logic textbook, if it's any good, lists these attacks as fallacies.
