Good observation--especially Obama's state. But I guess both are just finding a slightly polite way to say "treasonous," what you'd say before you sent your goons to arrest someone.
I just hope it's Trump who finally does the arresting. No matter who gets arrested (as I believe someone must), there will be a lot of pissed-off people. (That's why the 2nd Amendment is there--at least for a while.)
My takeaway paragraph is : “As I noted after the chaotic 2020 election, the federal government faced a threat it has not seen in over a hundred years. Concerns over the integrity of the 2020 election struck at the core of the institution’s democratic legitimacy. The result was a Biden inauguration fortified with thousands of national guard members that the Democrat Party didn’t trust with ammunition.”
I still don’t like either choice. But the one not actively trying to enslave me is the only reasonable choice.
My personal evaluation is that of the two- Trump or Biden, Trump was far better, but not perfect given how little power the president really has.
Previously, when Trump was president, we had low inflation, tight border security, lower taxes, tighter control over foreign country invasions, more respect for the USA, and many other things.
Currently, while biden is president, we have high inflation, no border security, higher taxes and more IRS control over citizens, multiple foreign country invasions and threats of invasions, NO respect for the USA, terrible withdrawal from Afghanistan, freebie giveaways to people who took out but havent paid back college loans, and MANY multi trillion dollar other giveaways we dont even understand.
And each of them is right in their own way. Biden is an enemy of a free state while Trump is an enemy of the deep state. The question is which one will survive.
"since the 1860 election of Abraham Lincoln." Right, that was another instance of federal government desperate to start a war to gain unconstitutional power.
This is an excellent article. The quote from Rothbard is spot on. “ As Murray Rothbard noted in Anatomy of the State, the state needs more than guns and bureaucrats to thrive. It needs the implicit consent of the people.”
That in a nutshell is the deciding factor. Who is willing to DIE for what they believe in. The VietCong were willing to DIE. The Taliban were willing to DIE. I don’t think the risk averse WOKE left are willing to DIE for their ideology. They can LARP all they want. But, as Kyle Rittenhouse showed us........some well placed high speed lead poisoning puts a stop to that. That’s why THEY have to go after the 2A. And why the founding fathers enshrined it. It makes people choose if they really want to die for their beliefs. “We must all hang together or we shall surely hang separately.” I know I’m not willing to DIE in support of this current regime. Regardless of who the clown in the WhiteHouse is. I’ve yet to see anything on this political landscape worth dying for. Fighting for perhaps. But not dying. Everyone is trying to paint the fence their favorite color. Those of us pointing out the rot in the posts are told to shut up and grab a brush. Or, we’re the enemy. This fence ain’t worth painting anymore folks. If a naturally occurring windstorm knocked it down we’d build a new fence. With pressure treated posts.
"Thanks to Joe Biden, and his friends in both political parties, instead tens of millions of Americans are growing increasingly comfortable considering themselves enemies of the state." Won't speak for anyone else, but that pretty much nails how I feel.
Trader Joe (or the dupe playing the part) is being propped up with an experimental drug called: Storm. Developed at MIT some 20 years ago, it was never approved for public consumption because of it's cumulative side effects. Take it long enough, the drug itself will kill you.

And THAT was what the civil war was really about. States rights vs. an all-powerful federal government.

Trump: enemy of the DEEP state
Choose one
It's already past long enough, imo.
