I agree. The current Memorial at ground zero is ‘vanilla’. But I am bias. I have always beleived the best way they could have honored the dead and memorized the attack on all of us was if our government had created a no-fly day. The only planes flying would be for perhaps medical emergency, whether personnel, or supplies. There was an expected boon from the emergency grounding of planes in the earlier days following the attack. The jet stream air-pollution cleared up phenomenally. A no-fly day is something we could have all participate in, and the New York finance district could have had there expensive property back to build another skyscraper.
