I finally got sick!

After 17 years without a sniffle I tested positive for Covid Friday morning. I knew I was probably feeling an actual illness but it had been so long I almost forgot what being sick felt like. The chills is what grabbed my attention. Got a false negative Thursday morning...and thought maybe the whiskey after a few beers the night before was too much. Haha. By Saturday I was feeling improved and today just about feeling back to normal. I hammered this virus with the supplements I know it hates and it sure seemed to work. It's a very interesting illness. Via the body aches it was as though the bug was traveling around in me looking for a weak spot. Ended up with aches in my piriformis muscles and lower spine. This is where I've had to undergo PT in the past. Also one ear just started hurting like hell - all while I was trying to sleep last night. Took a couple ibuprofens and that stopped it.

I'm not vaxed for it. And, over the past month I worked myself to exhaustion while clearing out two homes to sell back in Commiefornia without my trusty vitamin D. Then, my son had a good time in a big casino arcade and that's where I think we got it. I was due. My plan was to avoid it until the virus had weakened substantially. Didn't make it as long as I liked. Before it landed in this hemisphere I said two predictions: 1- Most people are going to get it. And, 2- Most of us will lose somebody close to us from it. There you have it.

I am worried. Edema in my legs, which has always subsided when I stick to a good diet and exercise routine. This, time after COVID, it's not going away. Although it could just be age. Edema can possibly be a heart problem. Pericarditis, but they said that was in some infants or children. Well who the F knows what they say.

My wife suffers terribly with migraines. I'm basically forcing her (haha) to get her head examined now. I'm concerned she's got a serious issue. Fingers crossed....

Nice that you had a doc willing to set you up for the drugs ahead of any infection. Sounds like a keeper!

The "reduce symptoms" narrative was a result of it becoming clear that the effectiveness of the mRNA vaccines wasn't real. It's more of a therapy than a vaccine I think. So be it. We're lied to. If we stay sharp it doesn't matter. Just wade through the BS and make our decisions on health issues.

I am in the control group, as is my husband. We may have had the original strain back in the beginning, but we have been taking the necessary supplements for a very long time, and we thought it was a mild flu except for the nasty coughing and micro-fever. Earlier this year, hubby got the newer version and was hit harder with pneumonia and hospitalization. He us 87 and came out on top. I've been lucky or in better immunity and haven't caught it again. My son and his family, on the other hand, were vaxxed and boosted and have been continually fighting off relapses and other illnesses ever since, in spite of taking all the supplements. Do I believe the shots cause a comprised immune system? Do I believe this vax horror was deliberately forced on an unsuspecting populace? I CERTAINLY DO!

Wife and I got it from a buddy after his daughter gave it to him before she knew she had it. My doc supplied me with the cure back when it first hit. Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, Azithromycin, D3 and Zinc. We were over it and testing negative in 4 days. Pure unadulterated blood here with no vaccines and hoping our immune systems will protect us. My brother and his wife took all the jabs and boosters and both have been sick twice since.

The dino wishes for you the best and a full return to good health.
I have minor sniffles all the time. An ear, nose and throat doctor who examined me concluded about 5 years ago that I have a 24/7 allergy to some unknown something.
My daughter came up with the theory that is why age 75 me over the years lost all of my upper teeth yet kept almost all of my lower teeth. I think she may be on to something.
Anyway my dentist (a keeper due to the gentle way he will stick a needle into gums, that need now quite rare) so perfectly designed my full upper "partial" that I don't need an adhesive for it to cling to the top of my mouth.

My husband and I both got the first 2 shots (Moderna) to keep our jobs so we don't really have any way to know if it was just our health in general, the supplements, or the shots that held off the virus for us for so long.

Arthgallo, same here! Uptick in frequency of migraines for me -- from 1 or 2 a week to 3-4. My doctor put me on steriods and that seems to be helping so far. We'll see how it goes after the steroid pack is done...

Don't feel too bad, Abaco! My husband and I stayed healthy until this year as well. All we did was ramp up our Vitamin D intake to 10,000 IUs a day back in 2020, went maskless into crowds, etc. I actually used the term "bulletproof" at one point!

Maybe this variant is the herd immunity-bringer. My husband got the chills and felt like he had the flu, ran a small fever, but rebounded in 3 days. I never got the fever but had sniffles, vicious headaches, and fatigue. It took me a little longer to rebound but it was only about a week. I have been fighting a battle against chronic migraines since (had them before but not as frequent). My doc put me on steroids to try to break the migraine cycles and that seems to be working.

It is an ODD virus for sure and doesn't seem to follow many rules other than looking for a weak spot. Frankly, I'm just glad to have had the exposure now so that I carry some authentic immunity.

I too have remained unvaxxed, and got it about 3 months ago, lasted 2-3 days, got more sick off drinking Tonic Water (natural HCQ) because dumbass doctor refused prescription. Proved to me (at 65), all the old people did not die of this crap, in fact, made me believe more strongly in the "flu rebranded" propaganda theory, That was just to get the herd scraed enough to get their shot and all the blood clotting, micro chipping crap in it.

Glad it was so mild in you. Speaks to your general health conditioning!

I was forced to take 1& 2. Other day while getting supplements the clerk mentioned how there are more people with migraines over the past 18 months. Made me think - I know mine are worse. Maybe there are others ?

Don’t feel bad. I was tricked into 1 and 2. No way in hell I’m doing more. I’m seeing bad evidence on the Vax side friends and family having strokes and heart failure. And this latest variant is something we can live with. When you really think about it....they were trying to cure the common cold. It’s not possible.

I am part of the test-group. I was duped and had 3 Pfizer shots at the "proper" intervals. The chyna-virus got me in May, I was moderately sick for a week with a nasty sore throat. The exhaustion is the only symptom that still has not gone away. I'm not getting 4 or 5. I've taken the flu shot most years and never got the flu but once. I never ever heard of a vaccine that "reduces the severity" of an illness. Our history of vaccines is that they work or that they don't work. Multiple doses to me is likely to be multiple rapes of the US Treasury. First they knock down two tall buildings to justify a war so they can steal 20 trillion dollars. Then they hype up a bad cold and lock us down to create a debt vacuum, to again justify stealing 7 trillion dollars. S.P.E.C.T.R.E. is not a BOND movie crime syndicate. Art imitates life.

Apparently Lara Logan, seasoned investigative and battlefield reporter, also thought the same as you, that it's not a natural virus. She went a step further and did the unthinkable: comparing Fauci to Mengele, and consequently was booted from Fox News. Just shows how sensitive the elites are to any unorthodox views re the sacred virus and its enablers.

Don't applaud yet. I have only regained 2 pounds and I eat everything I want, including ice cream. No weight gain. No loss, but no gain either. N

Life is good in the control group. And you are unlikely to have any long lasting effects, your natural immunity will eradicate the spikes.

Oh yeah. I'm going to remain part of the control group. My sacrifice "for science"!!! Reminds me....Did you know that the few childhood vaccine safety studies that have been done (funded by the vaccine manufacturers of course) often only included kids that had gotten the flu shot for the control group! Haha. I still think that's funny. They wouldn't do one for the very suspect MMR because they said having a control group without that vaccine would be "unethical". LOL...can't make this stuff up.

Since we're on the topic...My dad was a basket case the last five years of his life to do excessive vaccination. Eventually, even his doctors refused his request for more vaccines near the end. One of his symptoms really came to light with the J&J Covid vax - blood clots. He didn't live long enough for the covid vax to arrive but he was riddled with a continuous blood clot problem. I didn't make the connection then, but knew it hadn't been a genetic/family tendency.

Yeah, I hear you. I remain concerned about any lasting effects. But, the virus was different in 2021 for sure. STILL...I do not think this is a natural virus. This is an engineered, mad-made virus. I've lost about 7 pounds in the first few days, too. That won't last, though - beer to the rescue! Haha...I actually enjoyed my first cold one last night in the back yard enjoying the view and the outdoor air.

I take Vitamin D once a week and I am taking Vitamin B shot every two weeks. My potassium is low so I am eating a banana at least every other day. Cholesterol is 74. Strange.
