I watched about 20 minutes of this. It made me think about how so many of us are glued to computer screens, cellphone screens, all shapes and sizes of rectangular screens. It is mass hypnosis. They have figured out how to gain our attention, mainly through inducing fear, modulated by the amygdala in the brain. Even a simple trick by PhD psychologists at Facebook: They changed the color of the Notification icon from blue to red. Why? Because a red icon popping up looks like excitement or danger.

Less screen time is the greatest way to fight on the battlefield of the brain. Don't stare into the internet, for the bottomless internet will stare into you.

FEAR is almost always the desired emotional response. How to combat it, is to be fearless in your convictions. If you are on this board you likely use reason and logic , when you are conscious. Trouble occurs when you use your unconscious mind. Think fast think slow.

The mind has always been the premier battlefield. Sun Tzu recognized this centuries ago. All ancient religions were essentially a fight for the mind - the soul was merely the prize.

One of the things to ask a candidate for state office is if they're willing to vote to nullify a federal law that is not within the authority granted by the Constitution. Independent action by an individual is usually mostly symbolic and ineffective, but when states begin to exercise their authority to declare federal laws unconstitutional, the mass reactions start to break down, as there's a crowd effect that acts as a counter to the mass national mob, with the realization that "I'm not alone" when my instincts tell me something is very wrong.

I bet the democrats are at the forefront of this stuff, to affect the elections. Scary. We need to get rid of most of government powers.
