A complete violation of executive power and a huge leap beyond federal authority.

That said, I'm sure there are those on this site who will cheer. No more kings, right?

    This could jump up and bite him in the butt! We are being lied to royally by this administration. I was taken to the hospital on May 15 and kept in the ER until 2:30 a.m. My daughter was admitted Tuesday and didn't get a room until Wednesday. There is no shortage of rooms there is a shortage of nursing staff! He's claiming credit for creating mega jobs. Every business establishment in my town has a 'help wanted' sign on it. The nurses I had were from Russia, China, and Africa! Because Methodist Hospital fired staff if they wouldn't take the vax!

      Legality appears not to mean anything to this government. Worse, there are few in anywhere in government who appear to give a damn when criminal/illegal things happen. The 2020 election, giving billions to iran, allowing china access to awac tech, permitting the occupy and BLM movements to run unopposed, etc. come to mind.

        "Legality appears not to mean anything to this government." To a dictatorial communist regime the law is what it says it is at any given moment. Ink on paper rules of legality are just that: Ink on paper. The American Neo Communist (Democrat) party is no different. The only reason any of them still loosely adhere to the "Ink On Paper" rules of law is because they don't yet have complete control of the country (IMHO).

          Agreed. I also see the invisible hand of another layer of power at work here. The whole “Neo-Communist” thing is a charade. A convenient tool used on the useful idiots. Never in a million years will the Pelosis, Gates and Soros of the world agree to the redistribution of THEIR wealth. COVID showed us the two tier system that is operating in the background. Remember all the “We’re ALL in this Together!” BS that was propagated on us 16days into “flattening the curve”? Yeah, neither do they. As good little propagandists like Tom Hanks moved out of the country and changed their citizenship.

          A veneer of “Neo-Communism” exists to satisfy the woke mobs. But the power behind the curtain is a system that I call Neo-Feudalism. We see it’s hypocrisy in the form of the World Economic Forum. Finger wagging at Aunt Betty for driving her 1990 Chevy Pickup 14miles into town to Walmart. Meanwhile they jet thousands of miles a week to have meetings in which they scheme to get us to eat bugs. While at these very same meetings bugs are not on the menus.
          If we really want to avert this coming totalitarian wet dream, we need to show the “useful idiots” who is actually pulling their strings.

            You're on to them! Stalin, Mao, Castro, Kim Jung Un and their closest sycophants all live(d) wealthy lives. The next layer that helped get them into power and the layers of serfs below that all got redistributed: in the name of the people, of course. My message to the Hollywood and corporate crowd is, "When your socialist/communist dreams come true, may all your wealth get confiscated and spread around for the greater good. May the keys to your mansions and fancy cars be handed over to anyone that needs a place to stay or transportation."

    Regardless of the stance on abortion this is an impeachable insurrection. He cannot do this and governors with balls will enforce the will of their states anyway. All he’s done is proven his illegitimacy. We are going to Balkanize.

    If the president is allowed to rule like any tin pot dictator, why bother having the legislative or judicial branches of government? They would amount to nothing more than very expensive window dressing.

    NIFOITOWTBS would become imperative. The only after effect would be a national sigh of relief.

    The Puppet-In-Chief could just be following the instructions of his script writers.
    Heard Bob O'Reilly tell Sean Hannity on my car radio his opinion that all of what Senile Joe knows is whatever words his radicalized staff puts in front of his face.
    O'Reilly doubts President Bobblehead reads newspapers and watches news shows on TV.
    O'Reilly failed to mention the internet but me dino wouldn't be surprised if Little Joey prefers stupid pet tricks on YouTube.
