The Complicit Party . . . Who Surrenders Your Rights And Pretends To Defend Your Rights

Excerpt:
"Why do Republicans always let Democrats win?

Is it because so many Republican officeholders want to be Democrats – or regarded as “good Republicans” by Democrats? Or is it because they are, in fact, Democrats – ideologically in agreement on fundamentals (i.e., socialism) but wanting to see socialism realized at a more gradual pace?

It could also be something worse than all of the above. It could be that Republicans – the ones who control what the Republican Party does – are just . . . stupid.

Put another way, they are not smart enough to understand that when you accept the foundational argument or premise of your opponent, you have agreed with the foundational argument or premise of your opponent. And once you’ve done that, all that remains is haggling over the details."
--------------------------------------------------------

The GOP are traitors, just as much as the Democrats.

Agreed, almost all Democrats and a majority of Republicans are traitors. The only way to save our republic is public trial / punishment.

    Then we need to rebuild:
    Abolish the current education system.
Abolish most federal agencies, start with the FBI
Abolish the dollar, replace with a new gold backed currency.
Article V constitution of states – Constitutional Amendment - Government shale make no law providing financial benefit to a minority based on behavior, race, religion, or any other distinguishable feature. This single amendment would force corruption out and force a flat tax.
Debit jubilee – the dollar is a Ponzi-scheme, so is the debt. The losers are the banks and black rock types, the ones that hold our dept.
    Rebuild industry domestically, new industry.

I wouldn't say a "majority" of Republicans are traitors. 36 of Republican senators refused to cave on nationalizing restrictions on 2nd Amendment rights. Among those refuseniks is Senator Steve Daines (Montana).

I also might mention our lone Representative, Matt Rosendale (soon to be one of two Montana Representatives as Montana gained a House seat due to population increase) was one of a very few House reps who voted against making Juneteenth a national holiday. His argument was essentially that the US doesn't need a second "Independence Day" specifically for a single, racially determined minority group. He didn't like the racist implications of the law--and legislated according to his convictions, letting the popularity chips fall where they may

I disagree. A super-majority of Republicans in con-gress are traitors. They took an oath to defend the Constitution. They have done the opposite with one possible exception, Rand Paul.
Look at the other decisions of the 36 GOP senators who didn't cave on this issue and you'll see they caved repeatedly on other issues.

This litmus-test vote to nationalize restrictions on 2nd Amendment rights divided GOP senators into two camps: 14 willing to cave and the balance who won't. (We haven't yet seen how House GOP reps will stand on this bill.)

I still say give credit where credit is due. Considering the unending pressure from the left to confiscate all weapons and create an unqualified police state, I'm willing to applaud those who refuse to have any part of it as patriots--and remember those who are in fact (proven by their consenting vote) traitors.

In my view, the balance who didn't cave only did so because they receive lots of $ from the right. They knew they could do this because they already knew the bill would pass without their votes.
These people are scum with the exception of Rand Paul.
The House reps are no better. They know the bill will pass in the House so they can pretend to defend the 2nd amendment.

He says it perfectly. Do you want to run pell-mell and dive head first into the wood chipper?
Or slow walk and crawl inside feet first?
The end result is the same. “Distributed” wealth.
    Those are our choices.
    But, just keep voting harder!

I only "disagree" with one point, that the GOP are traitors as much as demonrats. The demonrats say they're going to screw you and they do. The GOP say they won't and turn around and do it anyway. LOL

I think you completely missed the entire point of political office. When a freshman gets to Washington, either party, the first thing they go through is a surgical procedure, Spay and Neutering. The second thing the are taught is economics 101 and how to cash in to get along. The third thing is a comprehensive class on how to get reelected. Failure or refusal of any of the above and you have a very short career.

Trump needs our advice desperately, ewg.
The problem is that he would probably not listen long enough to understand it.

It is his strength and his Achilles heel. He also needs to stop talking about the vaccine. Mark my words, If he gets in office again they will discover that he brewed up the vaccine in the basement of Trump Tower with fish tank cleaner and bleach and made Joe and the Democrats jab it in to the arms of babies and pregnant women.

And half the voters will believe that is true. The brainwashed, mis-educated, inexperienced, over-sensitive, and easily misled who should not be allowed to vote with such obvious obstacles to cogent, rational thinking.

"... when you accept the foundational argument or premise of your opponent, you have agreed with the foundational argument or premise of your opponent. And once you’ve done that, all that remains is haggling over the details."

Could not have said it better myself.

That reminded me of a joke:
In a game of hypothetical questions, Lord Beaverbrook asked the American actress: ‘Would you live with a stranger if he paid you one million pounds?’
      She said she would.
‘And if be paid you five pounds?’
The irate lady fumed: ‘Five pounds. What do you think I am?’
Beaverbrook replied: ‘We’ve already established that. Now we are trying to determine the degree.”

The last time me dino gave a donation to anything related to the GOP was early on during Obama's Reign Of Error due to appallingly frustrating RINO behavior.
Me dino still gets donation requests by snail mail that goes to File 13 and email that instantly gets deleted.
As for phone calls? On my home phone I love my caller I.D. and my Call Block button! I get far less requests on my iPhone that only has an off button to press. So I press it.
Made donations that went directly to Trump's campaign. Not through anything GOP. Figured that to be maybe a scam to put my money elsewhere.

I'm not a fan of this legislation or caving. However, in this case, allowing this semi-minor set of changes through, eliminates the ability for the democrats to scream Republicans won't address gun violence. This could disrupt the reversal of the mid-terms in both houses. I think this is the only reason the RINOs behaved like RINOs this time.

We really need ranked choice voting and the death of the two party crap.

GOPs been dead in my eyes for about 20 years now. I saw it with W. The party became a farce. I hate to say that and I know it's strong language. But, there you have it...

GOP proved its true intentions when it controlled the con-gress for the first time in 40 years
during the Clinton administration and failed to follow through on the Contract With America
and failed to do anything about the FBI's murder of the innocent people at Waco.
They held control of con-gress for 6 years (1995-2000) and held con-gress and the white house for 4 additional years(2003-2006).
They no longer had any excuse for their inaction and continual surrender to the left.
Instead of pursuing a path toward individual liberty and free markets, they waged war without justification.
It was clear that the GOP was part of the problem, and not interested in a solution that favored the American People.
That so many people still support the GOP is proof of the Deep State media brainwashing of Americans.

Did the FED and it’s EASY MONEY spur innovation? Sure, I think it did. But, corruption and enslavement came right on along with it.
Objectively speaking the EASY money that was used to compel people to invest in questionable enterprises did increase our standard of living. But much like a heroine junky, that temporary high is wearing off. And it takes more and more of the “drug” to keep the good times rolling. We are near the end stage.

On the contrary, I think it made people lazier, less productive, and less competitive, all which result in
a lower standard of living for both the prospective inventors who were suppressed by corruption and
      civilization in general.
I agree that unless there are significant changes toward a merit system, a big decline for America
      and the world is coming.

There is no longer a "Left & Right." There is a small handful of loyal public servants remaining. You can basically count them on one hand. The majority are pigs at the public trough and you are simply in the way. Chaney, Romney, Ryan, McConnell RINOs, traitors, one and all.
The Demon-Rats moved so far left they are basically Communists, more so than the Russians or the Chinese. The Repugs moved left, into to the slot Demon-Rats vacated.

The Constitution states "when the government ceases to serve the people, the people are duty bound to change the government" Duty Bound.

It's all about political power. The comments stated all fine but the problem is that there should be term limits for Congress. Those Republicans who voted for the Gun Control Law must maintain their control in Congress despite the facts of the incident in Texas.
