Supreme Court Overturns Roe V. Wade - Will This Save The Left in the 2022 Election?

Excerpt:
"Earlier this month, President Joe Biden said that there would be a "mini revolution" in November's midterm elections if the landmark decision was overturned - insisting that overturning the law would be "ridiculous" and would drive Democrat turnout in November's midterm elections.

"I don’t think the country will stand for it," he said, adding "If in fact the decision comes down the way it does, and these states impose the limitations they’re talking about, it’s going to cause a mini revolution and they’re going to vote these folks out of office.""

The TRUTH: This ruling does NOT make abortion illegal. As the SCOTUS said, this only states that abortion is no longer protected by federal law. The constitution gives the power to the state governments and to the people for anything not explicitly stated to be a power of the federal government and it allows the People to amend the Constitution through state representatives. It is long past time for the SCOTUS to "protect and defend" the Constitution.

Are there enough leftist moron voters who can't read and understand the Constitution to change the 2022 election, or will the Democrats have to cheat again to retain power that they didn't earn?

I’m strangely torn.....on one hand Leftist Tears are oh so yummy. On the other......if parents don’t want a kid I don’t want them to have one. I’m less Pro-Life and more Anti-Government telling us what we can and cannot do.
This issue can become a slippery slope. If we give government the power to “speak” for those whom their parents should be speaking for pretty soon fetae could become “property of the state” upon conception. Hyperbole? Sure.....now. 20 years ago did you ever think we’d see State Sponsored Transgender acceptance and cutting the parents out of the process in schools?
I think, beyond blatant cheating, the GOP will take the house and Senate. This will fizzle out by November. Once the Leftoids figure out that they can still kill babies.
Slippery Slopes have Schadenfreude at the bottom. Currently the Left is dining on a heaping helping of it after the Vax Mandates. Our Body Our Choice just doesn’t have quite the same impact Post-COVID now does it?

I am torn also. I don't like outright banning, or abortions up to the day of birth. Both sides are becoming too extreme. There is no middle ground anymore... On ANY topic.

How do objectivist, who use reason, vote? It is getting to the point that I cannot support either party since BOTH are too extreme.

The SCOTUS has followed the actual constitution for the first time in recent memory.
        They have banned nothing.
They have forced the People to follow the constitution for a change with 2 ways to affect abortion law:
        (1) Cause your state government to allow abortion through legal political means, and
        (2) change the constitution through the amendment process.
Until then, control your urges and use birth control.
We, the People, did that for generations in the past.
Stop being lazy, self-centered, whining, pampered ------s.

"The SCOTUS has followed the actual constitution for the first time in recent memory." Hard to believe, isn't it?

Yes, and as long as I'm complaining about laziness, etc., We, the People, should get off our collective asses and protest en masse against every other violation of the constitution, and against the laws passed that handed over the power of government to banksters - the federal reserve act and the 16th amendment - which was arguably never properly ratified and should never have been imposed on the People.
We are lazy, complacent, and cowardly, and we are losing our liberty as a result.
We need to kick some looter ass.

"We are lazy, complacent, and cowardly, and we are losing our liberty as a result." I don't entirely agree with this because I worked my ass off all my life and raised a family and didn't spend a lot of time on political Schiff. Yeah, I did some bitching along the way, but was very much pre-occupied. Now in the winter of my life span I'm catching up. I believe millions of other Americans are in the same boat so here we are...

It seems the rhetoric on both sides is WAY overblown, not that this is unusual. Those who are determined to have abortions will still have them, it's just less convenient. Those who want to eliminate abortions still can't; at best they can move them to an adjacent state.
