Democrats, media focus on guns rather than on Uvalde Hispanic shooter's sadistic mentality
No video or name in this report because Daily Wire wants to avoid "glorification of criminality." Question goes unanswered by MSM: where were this sadistic individual's guardians?
Vilifying guns while pitying, apologizing for the poor, social-victim maniacs (as long as their skins aren't too white) seems to be the name of the Democrat game.
Meanwhile, back at the MSM news desk, the agenda is to glorify monarchs and leftist killer-sadists like Castro and Che Guevara because guns in their hands and their police (alone) is the path to social equality and harmony.
I don't have the answer to stop sadistic random murders. I like the idea of having some system where you have to go to some kind of training to get a gun, esp a high-power high capacity gun. But I'm afraid that any such restrictions are a slippery slope to confiscating guns.
I would like to understand why there seem to be more people willing to commit these mass shootings of random children than in the past.
My guess (not a firm belief) is that it's lack of community. In the past you might hang out more with people from work or an avocation like sports or service clubs. The one troubled person in town who says he's so mad he could shoot up a school, will have friends tell him, "Things aren't that bad, and hurting innocent children is just the lowest thing you can do." But in the modern world, people meet less often at local orgs and more online, where you can connect to the rare troubled people in cities around the world, who reinforce one another's extreme ideas.
I think this starts at a young age, where it's easier to let kids hang out on devices rather than go out into the world, where they'll meet people who are different and learn to resolve their differences. Little kids need to have minor problems so they grow up to be leaders who solve bigger problems.
That's why "where were [his] guardians?" strikes a nerve with me. I really think young teenagers need to start thinking about themselves as guardians, people learning to go out into the world and take responsible action. They need to see themselves as becoming "We the People" who grant limited powers to the government according to a Constitution that sets limits to what power we can grant the government.
Just taking away guns does the opposite of that. The message is "what do you need with that gun? The burden is on you to say why the gov't should not limit you." We need to have the philosophy that guns and other dangerous tools are what the people use to keep each other safe and free.
Another possibility is that mass shootings were prevalent under Trump as well--but now, with Biden in power, Dems via media see this as a chance to ballyhoo the shootings so gun confiscation and dictatorial powers can proceed. Maybe not so much the number has increased--just media hype.
Dems and leftists don't care a whit about "security," all they want is to establish a police state where only they have guns.
