Julian Assange has no prayer against the ‘Empire of Lies’ - The Wikileaks co-founder is bound for a show trial by politicians desperate for votes

Excerpt:
"What is the real reason that Julian Assange was forced to seek refuge in June 2012 at the Ecuadorian embassy in London after Sweden issued a warrant for his arrest over allegations of sexual misconduct that have since been dropped? Perhaps it has more to do with his uncovering of illegitimate activity inside the Democratic Party than any excessive deaths and atrocities on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan?

In the run up to the 2016 presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, WikiLeaks released a devastating trove of emails either hacked or leaked from Clinton’s campaign email account. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) attempted to conceal the damage by promoting the tale that ‘Russian hackers’ had infiltrated the organization’s computers. Meanwhile, the more ‘conspiratorial’ explanation is that they were delivered to WikiLeaks via a staff member inside the DNC. More on that later.

One consequence of the leaky plumbing, aside from severely damaging Clinton’s presidential bid, was that it forced DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz to resign. In an embarrassing self-own, the emails showed Democrats working to undermine the campaign of Bernie Sanders, a fellow Democratic nominee, in an effort to boost Clinton.

But the story, at least for the Democrats, gets worse.

Less than a week before the elections, WikiLeaks released another batch of DNC emails, this time showing that interim DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile (a CNN contributor who took over for the disgraced Wasserman Schultz) had fed questions to the Clinton camp that would be asked during a CNN town hall debate against Trump. As far as ‘endangering US democracy’ goes, the Russians had nothing on that one. In fact, many furious voters were demanding that Clinton forfeit the presidency to Trump before any elections were even held."

Yep......it takes TWO wings to fly this corrupt bird.
Remember folks......when the JFK files were released .... all Trump had to do was.....nothing. And it still got redacted. Voting “HARDER” isn’t going to turn this around. It only controls the velocity.

Yes, these were 2 of the things that let me down.
      Snowden CLEARLY should be pardoned.
Simply because he was OUTTING the deep state.
      Proving we were lied to.
never mind he did it in the cleanest/best way "possible" because we have "whistleblower rules"... Whereby people end up DEAD or ARRESTED while applying for the status!

Julian massage should get the heroes welcome and the key to the city for exposing not only the corruption in politics but the broad over reach of intelligence agencies. Instead he's considered a traitor. Because the people have no right to know what our benevolent government does.

If a show trial of Assange is what the Democraps think will win them votes, they lose. It will be a bigger bust than the Jan 6 fiasco, and I think their network coverage might be limited to MSNBC, now that the major networks have been burned, and CNN is undergoing its own transformation.

The sad part is that Assange will still be treated without mercy, as an act of vengance by the Democraps, to send a message to anyone else who dares to expose them. If conservatives were smart (which unfortunately they rarely are), they would make him a sympathetic figure, as a hero for being willing to risk his life and reputation to expose the corrupt, venal figures in power.

If the GOP representatives were actual conservatives instead of corrupt power mongers,
Assange and Snowden would both have been honored with a medal of freedom.
This is another example of what now passes for justice in the Empire of Lies.

I predict a non-public trial, where nothing interesting is allowed to be said, just like Ghislaine Maxwell's trial. Now as then, the government is full of persons whom it will insist on protecting by not letting the accused speak one uncontrolled word on camera.

Assange’s greatest error was....he thought people would care.
He also should have had a Ghislaine Maxwell style DeadMan’s Switch that dumped the more scandalous pieces of data if anything happened to him.
    He was very......optimistic.
Let this be a lesson to those that would learn.
His way is NOT the way you do this sort of thing.

As others note, I am still surprised Trump didn't pardon Assange. Maybe he was advised due to the pedophile issues that he'd be painted with.
