He was my closest friend for over 50 years. He had one of the greatest voices, but never really got his due as the demons got him in the early 80s. We had quite a roller coaster ride.

Benny Mardones. Into The Night is on my favorite music list. From what I know of him, he was a great singer and a great man.

That is definitely not a donkey booty!

The whole World Order is about the scariest thing I've seen in government.

On this Memorial Day, I just wanted to post a video that was done by my closest friend, Benny Mardones, as a tribute on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. It only seem apropos on this day as he was a vet and passed two years ago. Enjoy.

Why are we still supporting the UN? This is an abomination. I have a 6' tall granddaughter who is a Missionary and I'll bet she could kick some sense into some of them.

An Associated Press (AP) investigation revealed in 2017 that more than 100 United Nations (UN) peacekeepers ran a child sex ring in Haiti over a 10-year period and none were ever jailed. The report further found that over the previous 12 years there had been almost 2,000 allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation by peacekeepers and other UN personnel around the world. AP found the abuse to be much greater than originally thought.
Every year or so, allegations of sexual misconduct by peacekeepers deployed under the United Nations flag ricochet around global media, shocking international audiences.

A few months ago, a report revealed that Burundian peacekeepers deployed in Central African Republic (CAR) have been extensively involved in the sexual exploitation and abuse of women and children.

It led to heartfelt statements about how such abuses will not be tolerated; how they undermine the capacity and credibility of the UN and its peacekeeping efforts.

The scandal surrounding revelations in 2015 of the violent sexual abuse of children in CAR by peacekeepers from France, Chad and Equatorial Guinea was also followed by such statements, and the adoption of Security Council Resolution 2272, which gives the Secretary-General authority to repatriate peacekeeping units or contingents where there is credible evidence of systemic or widespread sexual exploitation and abuse.

Nice grouping. I especially liked Winston and the Biden one. We really do have UN troops right?

Nice collection, Dobrien! I saw a documentary on Churchill and that little dialog actually happened. I'd like to donate to the guy trying to get back to 1941. The last one hits the scary bone!
