Why is government stockpiling guns, ammo?

Word from my local FFL dealer said only foreign-made ammo will be available to consumers. However, customs is now delaying approval from 30-days to 6 months. Coincedence?

That is really really frightening.... Then again, they COULD be facing their own guns, US, if they come upon a Mexican drug dealer, you know, from that let's give our guns to the Mexicans deal.
(I don't actually believe that, just so you know..).

No, I'm so bummed! He didn't get to speak! The rep that asked him to testify was a no show, and the guy who spoke for the NSSA was on the hot seat most of the time. The CEO from Colt spoke VERY briefly at the end. You can see my husband's tie behind the Counsel for the NSSA. Cut off at the shoulder. I teased him about that.

He was going to present documents that go back to the Clinton administration, the gist of them being the all out assault and bullying into submission the firearms industry. Pretty volatile stuff. I don't know if they're on public record so I can't say too much here. Cuomo was the main perpetrator of going after these companies. Go figure...

Omg, you're absolutely right! Crazy! One of the things I learned in my class is it looks fine if you take a defensive training course, not if you take tactical training. The Feds think you're going to go commando on someone, or many someones.

There is a two year back order at the gun manufacturer where my husband works. These are orders that have been placed. I can get one if I wanted, but it's only for one, not a large dealer purchase. But there's a serious shortage of ammo, even if the supplies were more readily available. As it is, the factory is going 24 hrs.

I thought about it, you're being ripped because you in East Germay, I mean the Eastern Seaboard. The Left are intentionally driving up the prices. I don't believe it's the FFL dealers, but it's the people they have to deal with. Go to GunsAmerica for a better price. They will ship to any FFL dealer, you'll only have to pay a handling fee from your local FFL dealer ~ usually about $45 dollars.

That's very true. The guys at the shooting range were asking my husband about getting guns, because they aren't available. Not what they were looking for, anyway. They also are making their ammo. Refilling spent cartridges. And they sell guns! It's really scary.

By the way, my husband wound up not getting called on to testify for the gun manufacturers. Some others did, but the rep that requested my husband's testimony didn't show. Go figure...

When I went for my pistol certification, I went through 45 rounds, and that was barely anything! They go through more than that. Especially over the course of a month.

It's good people are inquiring about this. I hope more continue to do so.

Hmmm from New Mexico....eating Mexican food... face it they might really be immigration/border control guys. ha. That is some enforcement vehicle, for sure. (Dare I say, overkill.)
Restraint in moderation...but never in the Gulch. :) For some reason I feel like I should say something in code...like...the teacup is full, or the sparrow has landed...or something. oh! The coconuts have migrated.

See government regulation works! They are creating more jobs, collecting more taxes, creating shortages, strengthening markets and driving prices up. Guns one of the only parts of the economy booming as a direct result of anticipated government regulation. Capitalism or what?
