WRT to grade school and high school it seems we grew up the same. As children we were allowed to be just that, children. We weren't constantly inundated or slapped around with political or ideological claptrap of the month. I do recall doing atomic bomb drills, but they were few and far between and were more of an annoyance than the various fear mongering going on today that is turning whole generations into drooling nitwits.

Now some of the idiots want to allow the teaching of Satanism in our schools. When I went to school, religion wasn't a topic. I couldn't tell you if any of my teachers were Democrats or Republicans. That topic never was discussed. For that matter it never was mentioned in my home either. My parents always voted and it seemed to take a long time but we kids all got together and had a good time playing.
