Greater dependance on tech while moving away from reading and more toward TV. I used to remember dozens of phone numbers, my phone card number when I served and tthe overseas numbers of some of the ladies I met. Today, I barely remember my family's cell numbers, complements of cell phones and voice/speed dial. We aren't exercising our brains.

I agree with that too!...too easy to find a def, a word, a number...not to mention calculators, (which I try to avoid except when calculating many decimal points by something bigger.)

What I am seeing in the younger children esp is frightening, as the useless restrictions on young children have devastated learning and development and the schools they they can just turn a switch and go back to normal teaching like nothing happened

I am seeing in the older children a large subset which cannot move on from the fear mongering that has been heaped on them with now severe anxiety and depression and wanting to hide behind a mask still and they and the parents will jump down your throat if you dare to talk about taking away their face diaper. I have been screamed at and threatened by parents for even suggesting it, even from adolescents/parents that I have taken care of for many years. It has totally destroyed their ability to think or rationalize.

I am seeing the same confusion about words that we have had for a very long time, such as mistakenly saying 'rationalize' when 'reason' was intended. The English language has far too many words for any of us to remain ahead of the game even when the rules aren't all changing.

My current pet peeve is the singular 'they' that always has me looking for the missing person. "Jim went and got their car from the garage." Cheezus and Zorroastor, folks Jim is already male. Why the "nonsexist" plural? Or is Jim in some sort of transition state? (Probably Cafilornia.)

Trust me, the injections are definitely affecting memory. "COVID brain" is a very real thing, but the worst cases this family physician has seen is in those who have had more than one of the injections. B12 and B complex vitamin replacements help but only temporarily. We are soon starting vitamin infusions, including glutathione and ALA, for "COVID injection" brain.

I believe it's consciousness that skips out on non-locality that's why we forget. This is due to overstimulation of the cerebral cortex. Our brains haven't evolved to take in all the data swirling about online and in the world.

When we get older we live in the Mind and ignore the head and the body...that's a lot of it too, but you are correct, the brain is taxed greatly with all the info we want to process.

We are constantly being inundated with information from all sides so it becomes one big confusing mass or mess of the important and the unimportant. Secondly we rely on devices to remember things for us, go in any grocery store and saa all the people with their phones out checking their lists, unless it is a massive list you should be able to remember what's on it. I jot things down for each store, glance at it when I get my cart and leave it in my pocket. We've lost the art of memorization which trains the brain to recall things.

I myself, certainly suffer from Way Too many tabs open and often have a brief biden moment myself but manage to stay on subject and remember, (whatever), within the conversation...no handshakes with the invisible, yet...

Hardly a day goes by when me old dino forgets where I put my cane.
Just now me old dino looked behind me to make sure my cane was still there.
It hasn't walked off and hid so far today.
It's all Putin's fault when it does.

We have moved away from discussion and the Socratic Method that was necessary to hone and ingrain ideas. Today, we are bombarded with such a quantity of information at such lightning speed, that validation is nearly impossible. This lack of focus has diminished memory and has relegated critical thought to a bygone era, with common sense not being common anymore.

Common sense in a fashion has been relegated to the road side because the "Unfathomable" has become the reality of the day, what's a conscious human to do when so called "leaders" are corrupt and pedophiles, children taught nonsense, all that we knew to be true takes a beating everyday from absolute bull crap that goes against every process our physical universe operates by.
A conscious human's first reaction is: This can't be, it just can't be real.
If any of us here were set in our ways, we couldn't believe any of the crap these days is really happening...surely someone on the mainstream news would be talking about it.

I think, that is precisely why all their buttons have been intentionally pushed so that the people would have no choice but see how convoluted the left have made things out to be. It's very difficult and painful to witness first hand a Humanoid's inhumanity to Man.

My early 2012 work exposes the fact that these creatures are Nothing like us...they just can't be Human.

"We’re terrible at paying attention, constantly scrolling our phones while we’re doing other things, which neuroscientists say makes it hard to encode memories in the first place."

If you can't remember anything, you will be more easily influenced by emotional rhetoric. It takes careful thought to reason through an argument.

If you think the government-medical complex is concerned about helping the citizens' neurological health I have a bridge I'd like to sell you...

So the WSJ now has to make excuses for the incompetence of the brainwashed under 50.
(That's because the WSJ is staffed with incompetents under 50.)
Maybe the solution is turning off the cellphone and use the brain to rationally investigate before publishing lies.
