Thanks for the reply, but the question was more rhetorical at this point in time. There are many reasons the deep state and various actors wanted to oust Russia friendly Yanukovyich. One that is always forgotten, IMHO, was the Islamic factor. The mullahs were front and center to get rid of him because the replacement was amenable to allowing the Mohammedans to repopulate the Crimea. Obummer, being Islam-first-America-last was glad to help out. The Russians, of course, said "nyet" and took the Crimea. I wish I could find the speech Putin gave the Russian parliament at the time, but he did mention Islam as a reason to hang on to Crimea.
