Hope those illegals enjoy their bus trip to DC. We don't need any more of them. There is a legal way for them to cross.

The problem is that in only two generations, the children of those mestizo Central American Indians (who reproduce 3.5 per couple) will overwhelm US citizens (who are reproducing at a rate of 1.6 per couple). The years of the Press claiming that there are 11 million undocumented people in the country hides the fact that they dev approaching 30 million!
I'm 75 years old and won't see the takeover, but I pity our grandchildren

This guy is awesome! If it wasn't for his interest in forcing his religion on others, he'd be a great candidate for POTUS.

"Forcing"? Uh, like with cops standing around making sure folks "believe"? Or something like that?
Sounds like if someone makes a reference to God, in any way, some folks just take offense. Never understood that, seeing as how we have free will and all that stuff. Just sayin'.

Forcing with "cops" with guns, enforcing laws. The government is the only agency freely able to use force to compel people.

Abbott has instituted force of his religious belief with the absurd TX abortion policy, deputizing other citizens as economic police to sue people disobeying his beliefs.

This has no place in the US. It is also being evaluated to similarly infringe the Second Amendment in CA. Fortunately his overreach will end with a SCOTUS decision, just like many of those of the other overreaching bookend, BuyDum.

Abortion is murder. Prove me wrong. Scientifically.
And how is enforcing laws against murder/abortion absurd?
          Just askin'.

No. You seek to use force to compel a woman to in accordance with your view, certainly for religious reasons. It is all on you to prove you have the right to force another person. The homework is yours.

This discussion has been had in this forum ten times, with thousands of comments. The conclusion is always agree to disagree, but I am quite comfortable no valid argument defending the rights of a single or two cells over the rights of an adult has ever been established.

I don't want to repeat the discussion, again, but assert, I will not support a religious zealot, like Abbott for POTUS, unless the alternative is another communist monkey.

Republicans should soft-pedal this issue rather than making it a major platform plank.

If the issue comes up, discussion should be limited to opposition to government paying for abortions. "Pro-lifers" will never convince a lot of women (maybe more than 50%) that they can't make life/death decisions about their own bodies. I personally agree, as long as they can personally fund those decisions without recourse to taxpayers' pockets.

An over the top "Jesus freak" can even bug a dictionary mystic like me dino.
Me dino prays to Good through Jesus quite a bit.
Especially when I used to work as a corrections officer inside a prison named after an officer who got killed there for some funny reason me an old dino can't quite put my finger on today.
Yet I got tired of a female officer always saying "I'm blessed" when any time asked "How ya doing?" or "How's it going?" to.

"I feel a movement in the force" over at the Justice Department. The administration will utilize the supremacy clause to tell Texas to go pound sand. It will be even more interesting when they start dropping them off in DC by the busload...They will probably charge Abbott with kidnaping.
