Elon Musk = Hank Reardon?

Your thoughts? This time it's not steel. It's freedom of speech. The steel equivalent, IMO, was Big Pharma and, for the most part, the Science Institute won that one. "When their fat little comforts are threatened you can be sure that science is the first thing men will abandon." That was about 15 years ago, starting with Simpsonwood and continuing on today. Watch how the establishment goes after Musk, now... Already similar, IMO.

What we actually got was the Wizard of OZ. There are those in the WH that are behind the curtain operating everything. It was very evident at the Easter Egg Roll. It took the Easter Bunny (WH staffer) to pull JB away from the cordon-off crowds.

On a scale between being 100% rational, intellectually honest and consistent and being 100% irrational, I would estimate he is definitely closer to the rational side. I get this impression from watching interviews and his actions. He is one of a very few I would like to have dinner with.

Rearden was another who was not 100% rational, but would make an interesting dinner guest

True but he can sell pieces of it or take it public again after it’s the way he wants it

You are correct! A few years ago it came to light that Tesla was making hundreds of millions by selling carbon credits mostly to Ford Motors. He is a crony capitalist, nothing more. EM is not HR.

Exactly. I've been forced to pay into the SS Ponzi since I was 16 years old and at 70 I consider the little I get every month to be a ROI.

I do think that if Elon actually took twitter private and made it totally free speech, its stock value would increase dramatically and Elon would make a lot of money on his investment.

Biden is just trying anything he can to save the democrats from defeat in 2020 and 2024. He will get us into war with russia if he can pull it off.

At this point Musk and the board members are going to be sued by every side no matter what happens. In fact, he's already the defendent in over 1,000 pending cases. You might want to follow vivabarneslaw.locals.com, who is the attorney for some of the cases.

If we establish a line wherein true statism is on the left end, and individualism is on the right end Elon is certainly closer to the right end. Turning Twitter into a way for people to just interact with each other without censorship would certainly move the country away from total statism, at least for awhile.

You cant win against a majority of statists who enlist government to make themselves more powerful. You do the work, and they eat. I only want to make what I can spend at this point. I dont want to feed government any more.

I have accepted that the government is more powerful than I am, and will take from me whatever it can get away with. I no longer want to make money when the government is poised to take most of what I make.

I take social security too. Its just a small amount of money returned to me that they stole over the years.

I wonder if that would actually result in lawsuits and SEC problems if it was found out. Right now, he could probably threaten to cause a drop in the stock if he sold, or he could slowly sell off shares and actually make a profit on his past purchase of his shares.

One thing thats certain- Elon isnt just going to roll over, Twitter makes no profits so its not a very viable business. People like the idea of "tweeting" (you can be whoever you want
to be), but I cant see that twitter is that difficult to duplicate.

Plan B is that he is seeking institutional investors to buy Twitter shares on his behalf using his money while not putting the shares in his name, thus not triggering the poison pill. This may or may not be considered fraud, but so can the pill itself (it is the directors, who own little or no stock in the company, protecting their own personal control agenda at the expense of the company).

I'm skeptical of Musk. He does not simply want free speech, or he'd just join Gab. And he is a graduate of WEF's Young Global Leaders program, which is a major red flag for anyone concerned about the Great Reset.

Agree about the science. The key to judging the reliability of alleged experts is to follow the money. Fauci owns big shares of both the Pfizer and Moderna patents and stands to make billions if everyone is forced to take the shot.

I love to see what plan B is. He is never going to actually get Twitter, but he might start up a competitor and put them out of business.

An "unearned" slam? Not sure what you're talking about, but I think I do mention that the system was built to be taken advantage of. If there is a "slam" there, it is on the politicians who "graciously" [/s] allowed people like Musk to get millions of dollars of taxpayer money so they could go "save the planet."

My problem with it is that THAT'S MY MONEY he's used to get rich! Do I get a dividend for it? Any compensation? No. Government appropriated that money from my pocket at the point of a gun, then went on to give it to people like Musk. Solar panel manufacturers. Traders in "green energy credits." And many, many more. All profiting from MY tax dollars.

Just because a "law" is written does not make that law moral. Just because Musk isn't going to get prosecuted for his actions doesn't mean I have to condone them.

I see Musks actions as an attack against the Deep States Bullhorn. Putin has attacked the Money laundering machine , child trafficking , and bioweapons +++ . Trump has been attacking them all for six years. ThinQ Durham. Xi has not been super kind either to the Deep State but that is a complicated arraignment. Digital soldiers number in the 100,000 ‘s .

I don't know. I haven't followed his career closely, but Musk always struck me as more of a Francisco than a Hank. You know, "well if he invests in it, it MUST BE a good investment." He's just having it "nationalized" bit by bit along the way rather than in one big swoop at the end.
