In trying to wrap my head around this thing the facet that grabs me is the timing. I think this is a combination of two things: Musk buying Twitter and Hunter Biden's laptop. What say you? Perhaps is just, as one of my trader heroes Ed Seykota would say, a part of the natural progression of how the nation is changing, "like a caterpillar into a butterfly". One could argue that, of course. A lot of Americans are probably welcoming it. If the items reportedly on the laptop get loose on the internet it will be an epic scrubbing effort. This board would be the tool for that.

    The metamorphism of a caterpillar to butterfly is beautiful and natural. Nothing natural about this communist progression.. It is entirely man made. If you don’t know that you are the enemy to the treasonous fraud Admin. and that you are under attack ....God help you. I’m Not saying you Abaco.

      I was thinking along similar lines, Dobrien. Only my thoughts weren't butterflies, it was commies are more like the tent caterpillar and gypsy moth cycle where the caterpillars can strip a tree (the productive) of everything it has - killing it eventually.

        Like my beloved Mountain Ash that is going to take a 120 foot crane to remove it a week from monday. The emerald ash borer has destroyed it.

          My area has lost thousands of ash trees! It's a tragedy like Dutch Elm disease all over again. I grew up on a street that was shaded by an elm canopy. All gone now.

            Oh dear, please come and take some of our Oak Trees. They are gorgeous but HUGE. Many are nearly 100 years old. History has it all the Oak trees were planted by the Ladies Society nearly 100 years ago and we have a city ordinance that if you cut down a tree, you have to put one up in its place and a sidewalk must be rerouted if the tree is over 18 inches in diameter. You should see our sidewalks and how they weave around the block. We all sneeze a lot.

Many of these migrants (illegal aliens breaking American law, actually) pay the cartels to get them to the American border, then the Biden administration completes their journey into the country at taxpayer expense - presumably adding additional taxpayer expense to set them up for decent living after they are settled. This completes the cartel's business so they can go for more of the same. Is the "Big Guy" crime family getting its cut?

    Anyway, IMHO, putting the above smokescreen aside, the real reason behind the curtain is to crush any opposition to the Neo Communist (Democrat) party. It'll be interesting to see what "disinformation" gets quashed as we approach the midterm elections in November. I expect the new ministry to run a campaign scrutinizing every word a Republican may utter (and even invent utterances never said) while giving the Neo Communist candidates a free pass on ANYTHING they spew. We shall soon see - depending on how fast the new ministry can be fired up.
