Actually, there is no 'they there' when born. The they refers to selves which are no more than a potential at birth. Like the butterfly flapping its wings or in time travel, being born in the future is quite dependent on the past and a whole lot dependent on which of the more than 20 million sperm fertilizes the ovum (including all the randomness in that process) and how the body creates a self produced self, the 'they' of the future have a very high amount of randomness. In that way, no one alive is responsible for the acts of any other individual. Considering the amount of randomness involved, even parents are not responsible for the potential self, that depends on how that self makes itself.
