I don’t understand why it's our responsibility to help? Why is it our blood and treasure these countries want? Why can’t they build their own army’s sufficiently to deter their foes?

They don’t self-arm because we support them, no need for the expense and the sacrifice. Sounds similar to a homeless man receiving handouts, no need to work if people are giving you money.

I stopped listening when the author said the West did nothing…

"I don’t understand why it's our responsibility to help [Ukraine]?"
Would you understand if it was in our self-interest?

yes - I don't see how this is in our self-interest. Please enlighten me how this corrupted government is in our best interest to save? It is in our best interest for this government to be dissolved as it seems to be the source of the corruption and money laundering for our corrupt politicians here in the US.

Is it worth our young men, money, threat of WW3 to save a pain in the ass, no, I don't think so?

This is not directed at the people of Ukraine, but it is the responsibility of these people to clean house, just like it's our responsibility to do the same here. Nether is being done at the moment.

They left out the part where rampant corruption at the hands of Western Oligarchs, and their Puppet, looted the wealth of the people. But, that doesn’t fit the desired narrative very well. Atlas Society would do well to take an OBJECTIVE look at this situation. Instead of adopting a “We support the NEW THING!” stance.

The graphic novel was about Ukraine--the oligarchs that looted the people of Russia were not Western but cronies of the Puppet Putin.

It's interesting that Richard Salsman, who is now associated with TAS, is no fan of Zelenskyy or his government or US war hawks floating trial balloons for military intervention. I think he makes a strong case that Zelenskyy's corrupt regime is somewhat responsible for instigating this, but I don't speak for him.
