How did the chicken cross the road while texting?
He had to go bawk
Notice that govt personnel are excluded. if I were a texter and got caught, I'd just say I was reporting criminal behavior

    Are they Jaywalking? If so, then it is already illegal. First, I would think that if the news reported a few more of these “tragedies” (if the problem is so dire) instead of wasting time on Rubio drinking some water, then maybe the public would be more careful. Next, I think if you are that oblivious you deserve no sympathy if you get hit. Then I am left wondering who should get the Darwin award, the idiots creating the problem or the politician that believes they can legislate away stupidity…

      No, just the politicians !! Although I might be wrong. For so long, I have watched new stop signs and lights put up because people are too stupid to look both ways or figure out when it is safe to pull out into traffic. I think it is another way to dumb down society, not make them think for themselves...

        I think you're correct. By the way, speaking of dumb, there was a piece in the paper yesterday written by a giant ignorant dip s**t, stating that firearms and ammunition manufacturers should be held liable in shootings. That's like saying to an auto mfg co that if someone is killed in a car accident, the auto co is responsible. I was so boiling mad when I read that!

          Did you think these ridiculous claims could happen in such a short time? No responsibility for any personal actions, the businesses are responsible for manufacturing products that make life easier, not for how you abuse a product. Those evil business people......

          Ayn wrote, "a cultural movement is the precondition of a political movement." All the recent posts of CT speeches is such an example, doubled down by the media grasp of gun control, the governments plan to confiscate, then you get the dummies who go out and say, I have children and grandchildren to protect, as if giving up your gun and making them a slave is protecting them.... Ugh, I'm ready to sail matey...
