The EU has also been destroyed .
They have a 39Trillion deficit for their pensions.
Most of their banks are still saddled with the bad debt from 2008. No worries though, they have flooded Europe with Syrians and Afghanistan and Libyans and Somalians. Those replacement slaves have no pension claims. Eliminate one group and replace with another. Sound familiar?

So, according to the WEF, The Banksters and the Globalists...

All is going according to plan.
They raped us, stole our wealth, indebted us...

And now they will cleanup their mess by taking our freedoms, and we will own nothing and be happy... (Or we will be treated like the Jews, or the Russians in Ukraine, until we fight back, and get labelled terrorists)

Wow... Looking forward to Agenda 2030... You?

Money is just paper, taxes are control, debt is the leash

The whole system went off the rails after the government stopped issuing a dollars’ worth of gold for a dollar in cash. This was solidified on Aug 15th 1971.

Taxes mean nothing to the government when you consider how much is printed by the government; they just print what they need… Taxes are used to control the population and to manipulate behavior.

Debt keeps all enslaved, we are too concerned to keep the hamster wheel going around.

We need a revolution in this country and restore our constitution. It needs to be amended with a limit on the size/scop of the federal government and a balanced budget amendment. We need to tie the dollar back to the price of gold/silver/other precious metals.

We need to organize and shrug; we need to stop paying taxes and our mortgages once it become obvious to the general public what is going on. This needs to be done by the people of this country as a whole.

The dollar is over, take what you still have a purchase precious metal. A couple of years ago, I would have called myself a loon; today I think most would agree with these assertions.

The can not only is at the end of the road, but the Great Reset dump truck just picked it up and took it away because you’ll own nothing and be happy. Bullshit…

what determines the price of gold or, for that matter, for anything? On the gold standard the price was set as in communist societies by fiat because they had no standard of value from a market. If the value is set in a market, the amount of dollars or worth of them would vary daily but more stably than congress determining prices and the money supply.

It makes some of the "conspiracy theories" going around look like highly viable plans. Trump installed as Speaker of the House right after 2022, then reelected president in 2024. If Trump or none of the other plans work, we'll just be enslaved and that's that. Just support the conspiracy theory, it actually could work. We might still might able to get out of debt, Maybe Elon Musk and few others like him could help bail us out, and everyone else could contribute "a few dollars a month. Of course we'd have to reduce the size of our governments.

Tytler pretty much got it right. We are at the end- of the road. Too bad we didn't take the road less traveled.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”

I've tended to look at selfishness as a virtue -- in terms of rational self-interest.
If the above quote were to be 'modernized' - I would change "From abundance to selfishness" to "From abundance to decadence"
The democratic majority can vote themselves largess -- it remains up to efficient production to turn that largess into the products and services necessary for life. This is where Atlas has the opportunity to Shrug.
At this point in time, I think that the USA and The West are somewhere between decadence and apathy. In a very short time, 10 years perhaps, we can be forced into a world of dependence; brought on, by design, through the artificially created wars and shortages. An ample quantity of stupidity, heaped on by government bureaucrats, will certainly help to push things over the precipice.

But, but, but we need to spend and spend so we won't die of climate change as much as we need to burn coal to make power for electric cars.

Recall reading the Plains Indians, due to the scarcity of wood, burned dried buffalo droppings for cooking and warmth. That's kinda like bullshit.
Whoa! Memory flash! In the Mad Max Thunderdome flick pig shit was converted into automobile fuel.
That means wannabe commie Progressives can line up at converted for modernized fossil fuel processing plants.

Did you notice how much of our money is going to Viet Nam, Afghanistan, Africa and South America. And what they are going to be 'allowed' to spend it for? This is a joke! Oh and the UN.

I think it will be a well-orchestrated crash including ratcheting actions -- similar to the totalitarian overreach of Covid-wu-flu-mandates, obliging the rioters during the 2020 summer of love and now the widespread toleration of the effects from off-the-charts-money-printing.

Question -- has anyone been brought to task? Anyone hanging from a rope, anywhere? The 2008 Great Financial Crisis -- did anyone serve time? None that I am aware of -- please correct me if I am mistaken.

The ratcheting action is employed surgically. Federal and State Pensions will be "restructured" -- and there is nothing that any of the little people are going to do about it -- as long as the economic changes are administered with great precision and the pressure-release controls are turned with scientific deftness, there will be no revolution. It may sound nihilistic, but, Enjoy the decline.

This is why we have a government, so that we can borrow our way to oblivion? And borrowed for what unproductive uses. If the debt were invested instead in the private economy think how much more could be done, and how much better the lives of producers could be.
